Gossip mags eh, how do they find all these ‘friends’ of celebrities to tell them juicy details about a famous person’s boob job, fist fights with the maid, divaesque antics in Walmart and, most popular of all, private stuff about wedding plans? This week in New Zealand’s Womans Day, some ‘friend’ of Anna Paquin spills a bunch of goss about her private life at home and when and how she plans to get married to lovely Stephen Moyer sometime in the near future.

They’re getting hitched in Mexico apparently, and no, y’all not invited. I bet this ‘friend’ is off the guest list as well. Unless there is no friend and they just made a bunch of shit up because we love Anna in New Zealand ‘cos she’s one of our only super famous people. The photos are from the set of The Romantics, and i’ve included a fun Buffy vs Sookie article from the television section. I particularly liked the way they described Eric…snicker. Enjoy this gossip fairy tale, the only part which is definitely true is that Anna’s sister Katya works for the Green Party and is shacked up with their rather cute leader Russell Norman. Boy, didn’t they have a lot of wrong info printed. Makes you wonder how accurate they are on anything.
Wrong- proposal on a beach, the kids having the same mum, Splash being the ring bearer….and those are the one I recognized. I just hate rag sheets, though it was a fun read.

Evil Eric eats children. Just love it.

I found the comparison between Buffy and TB interesting. There seems to be a lot of similarities between the two.

Well, CE, I thought we had the same mags, but I have been checking the Newsagents and have seen the Terri Irwin storyline but not the cover!

What a mixture of stories!! I can see quite a few different interviews mixed up in this scoop! It makes them look like stinges!!!! I know Anna is into organic foods – her parents were organic vegetarians. I have seen a photo of Stephen with a pizza!! He was also photographed with the dog “Sookie” outside a chinese takeway. Don’t know!!

I wonder if it is that FaceBook Anna that did this interview??

Also, aem, I thought Stephen proposed to Anna in hawaii, but in a restaurant on the beach?? They even mentioned the “Splash” joke!

The trouble is, as with the initial engagement story leak – sometimes there is no smoke without fire – maybe somewhere in this article is a little truth, but who knows where.

Well, so if you believe the story, they went for a holiday after filming the pilot – no wonder they were hot! I’m just thinking of all those personal moments on TB S1 – yes – sizzling!

I love the Eric biz!! Eats children!!!

Thanks for the article, CE! I am going back to the newsagents to see what is on our cover or what is inside!

  3. [...] Day recently featured a wedding dress wrapped Anna Paquin on the cover with rumored details about her big day with True Blood co-star Stephen [...]

This story sounds like a giant load of codswallop to me. Sadly, it is interspersed with some tidbits that are true. But I know they aren’t vegans, I know that Brian Paquin still lives in New Zealand, and I know that Splash is not going to be the ringbearer. How funny is this story? Oh, and I know that when these two do marry, which I hope is soon, as they are the coolest couple around, we won’t find out about it until some time afterwards, which suits me just fine.

Thanks for showing the article. There should be a “CUT and PASTE” award for this piece of nonsense. Don’t know if any truth is involved, but I do know that TrueBlood is not shot during the “cold months” in New Orleans! (I live in Chicago, so I know a little about cold months). I love how on page 8 the food will be tacos and tequila on the beach and on page 9 they be at a hole-in-the wall restaurant wonder how the cast and crew of TrueBlood will attend since they’ll still be shooting the series. It takes about two weeks per episode.
Its sad to see what journalism has become in this case and some others
