Here’s your chance to meet Lafayette, Sam, Godric, Terry & Daphne of HBO’s True Blood!
Nelsan Ellis, Sam Trammell, Allan Hyde, Todd LOWE & Ashley Jones will be attending the Eyecon convention in Orlando, Florida, November 13 – 15. At Eyecon, you’ll be able to attend Q&A sessions with the cast, attend cocktail parties and banquets, get your picture taken with your favorite True Blood cast member and even get autographs (fees apply for most).
5 Lucky winners will get free Gold Tickets to Eyecon. Each winner will receive 2 Gold Tickets ($270 value!).
The Gold tickets include:
*Admission to all three days of the convention

*Access to the dealer’s room and all panels and games

There are 2 different ways to win, so pay attention:
1.Write a True Blood themed Haiku. 4 Winners will be chosen. Please place your Haiku in the comments section.
Haiku is a poetic form and a type of poetry from the Japanese culture. Haiku combines form, content, and language in a meaningful, yet compact form. Haiku poets write about everyday things. Many themes include nature, feelings, or experiences. Usually they use simple words and grammar. The most common form for Haiku is three short lines. The first line usually contains five (5) syllables, the second line seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables. Haiku doesn’t rhyme. A Haiku must “paint” a mental image in the reader’s mind. This is the challenge of Haiku – to put the poem’s meaning and imagery in the reader’s mind in ONLY 17 syllables over just three (3) lines of poetry!
