    OH MY… *gasp*

  2. Acanthus says:

Good grief. Twelve episodes are not enough cans in which to catch all the worms.
Wanted: Two more eps in fantastic condition. Will trade for four minisodes still in wrapper.

    • NotHoney says:

Seems a fair trade to me!

Here’s my nightmare: I came to TB late for many reasons I won’t elaborate, so I watched S1 and S2 back to back. I’ve never experienced the horrible, LONG wait between seasons. I’m thinkin’ Big Love isn’t gonna fill the void …

      • gattopardo says:

something similar happened to me actually, as I only started watching TB last year, when a cable channel started airing S1. So I pretty much watched it all in one go, as well as a couple of reruns. My current nightmare is not being able to watch the new episodes with any semblance of regularity or certainty… But I’m guessing fanfiction is the best antidote against the season hiatus blues :)

      • Acanthus says:

Same story here. I rented the first DVD of Season 1 out of idle curiosity, and ended up in total immersion in two seasons over five days.

With hordes of characters and so many story arcs going on, this season cries out to be seen in multiples. Someone here mentioned – a trifle facetiously but not far from the mark – that each character has about 3 minutes’ screen time per ep. I lost patience with every cut to the Mickens and Jason/Crystal tonight, not because they were dull, but because I knew that so much less would be seen of my favourites.

And now you’re saying there will be a HIATUS???? Six days between episodes is too long as it is. I’m beginning to wish I hadn’t discovered True Blood until Season 3 was finished,

        • NotHoney says:

I recall reading somewhere that Steve estimated about seven minutes per major character per episode this season. That’s certainly not enough Bill for my tastes, but what we’ve seen so far has been hot and kick ass! So, I’m happy. This season has rocked and socked like no other.

  3. Franck says:

Can this video be more attractive ? I mean HBO wanna kill us…literally !

  4. Amnda says:

Oh goods. I can’t wait for next sunday!!!!

  5. Fooledbylove says:

The number of good looking men on this program has taken on a life of it’s own. The should be collectively given top billing during the opening credits. What an amazing treat!

  6. Fooledbylove says:

Forgot to add: WHY is Tara biting Franklin? Okay…that is just weird.

    • Lividity says:

I agree – that was the craziest thing that stood out for me as well. I doubt the show would actually make Tara a vampire – but somehow, I sort of like that idea. I hate seeing her always being vulnerable and weak and being preyed upon.

      • NotHoney says:

In the two seconds I had to ponder the ep before going to bed, I figured Tara’d be better off as a vampire. No human could kick her ass, that’s for sure. But she’d never be free of Franklin unless she staked his crazy ass.

    • Aiyo says:

I think Franklin wants Tara to drink his blood so he will always know where she is, if she is in danger and of course the sexy fantasies. But being the kinky, sexy vampire that he is, he doesn’t want to bite himself and give her the blood to drink. He wants Tara to bite him herself.

Well that’s just my two pence, I could be wrong.

  7. Acanthus says:

Okay, I’m pissed off with waiting six days, and doubly pissed off with stupid hiatus, and triply and quadruply pissed off with HBO and the universe in general for stingy 55min eps doled out Oliver Twist-style.

No writer of fanfic, but nothing to stop me from creating a premature death list. I mean, why wait for the bloodbath promised episode 7, I ask ya? All we ever do is wait.

    Direct hits and collateral damage:
    The Mickens, all of ‘em
    Crystal
    Talbot (sad to say)
    Franklin (sadder to say)
Magister (very very sad to say)
Cooter, Debbie, and a job lot of weres (but weres are the Red Shirts, always getting slaughtered, so
    what’s new?)
Rolling royal heads – KRE and QSA
    Hoyt (possible)
    Bubba
    Terry
Whomever Sam hires to waitress at Merlottes
Summer, especially if she’s hired as a waitress at Merlottes
    Jesus

    • Lividity says:

No! Terry B will not be sacrificed. No effing way they’d off that dude. Without Bellefleurs the show would be a mere shadow of its former self.

      But wait, Bubba?

      • NotHoney says:

I definitely don’t think we’ll lose any Bellefleurs, and I don’t think the Mickens’ will be killed off, just run outta town on a rail. Hoyt will stick around ’cause Jason needs a friend, but Jesus might be a casualty of some sort. We’ll see come ep seven, I reckon.

        • Acanthus says:

Well, with plenty of vamps and weres and possibly the odd witch or other supes being terminated, I’m thinking that the writers will balance the books with a few human bodies. There are so few humans left in the series that my picks were sorta desperate.

  8. ruthieroux says:

I am just glad Bill finally grew some balls and is fighting back!!!

    • TruBNewB says:

Indeed! So lovely to see kick-ass Bill in action. He will no doubt be slapped down a few more times (he never seems to win for long), but still, his beat-down of Coot was a thing of beauty.

      • Krissy says:

IDK I think Bill got played. I don’t think it is a coincidence that RE said something like “Let’s try an experiment” and then coot all the sudden goes into Bill’s room and taunts him. Then Bill conveniently easily overpowers Coot, a were on V, and his guard who must be stronger than Bill for RE to put him on guard. The of course, Bill leads them right to Sookie, putting her directly in RE”s hands. Just my opinion but I think Bill got played.

        • TruBNewB says:

Bill overpowering Coot isn’t too farfetched. He did it before when he took out Coot and the other werewolves when he was first captured and the BMW was wrecked. And all of those weres were hopped on V – Bill’s V as a matter of fact.

It’s possible it was all just a trick I suppose. With Bill overpowering Coot and the guard – it still doesn’t explain how he got off RE’s land without other guards stopping him. Well even if he was played, I don’t really care at this point. As I said, he never wins for long, so it was nice to see Bill at least appear to have some control in a situation.

          • lizzie1701 says:

Also, Debbie Pelt knew Sookie was staying at Alcide’s and she may have told Coot about it so I reckon they already knew where Sookie was because of Debbie!

Anyhow, if Bill did not get free, we woud not have had that lovely re-union hug with Nathan’s Bill and Sookie music!

          • Magdalena says:

Speaking of Coot and Bill’s blood… shouldn’t Coot be having sex dreams about Bill by now? lol

  9. Sarah UK says:

Have just watched ep 5 and cannot wait for ep 6 …this series is just getting better and better week by week .

Wonder what the seriously wonderfully psychotic Franklin Mott will do next , who will betray who next in the weird and wonderful world of vampire politics , and what exactly is Sookie ? Hoping all these questions and more will be answered in the coming weeks !

  10. TruBNewB says:

Who is Jessica biting? I have watched and rewatched a million times and it goes so fast that I still can’t tell.

  11. Lividity says:

Lizzie1701, does not look like Maxine. Seems like someone new…
