The movie looks amazing really, I hope it does well. The tape of Alexander and cast and crew playing soccer made me smile. It looks like he really gets into his game even if it is just for fun. He was trying to do about 3 different things there, including coach and cheerleading..lol. He is such a fan.

Thank you for finding that Jody!

    Transformers without Shia.

yeah, I probably own’t be seeing this in the theatre. The only reason I’ll rent it is to see Alex in his sparkling whites.

The suits that run movie studios mostly care about global gross, multi pronged merchandising , but what makes a move special hasn’t changed: it’s characters you care about. What made Transformers a fun movie was Shia’s character, plus his parents were awesome. Special effects just don’t make an effective movie, they’r ejust a tool.

But then, I work with a bunch of younger guys who I’m sure will see it opening weekend , so the suits don’t give a crap about me. LOL!

Its spectacular but I guess a little bit of Skarsgard in there

I read in several places that the characters are real and have good bonding with each other, so you do care about them rather than just watching them blow stuff up.

I’m so glad they made a lot of movie-making featurettes! This soccer one has to be my favorite. Love it! Thank you Peter Berg!
