trb4 season 5 casting call

From Deadline:  Kelly Overton (The Ring Two) and Louis Herthum (The Last Exorsism) have landed major recurring roles on the HBO vampire drama True Blood. Overton has been booked for six episodes and Herthum has been tapped for five.

Overton, repped by Innovative Artists, will play a dirty, beautiful werewolf named Rikki who demands to know what’s become of the pack leader. Herthum, repped by Main Title and Progressive Artists, will play a particularly large Marine-type werewolf who refuses to bow down before the new pack leader. He is also recurring on A&E’s Longmire.

Looks like these two might be spell big trouble for Mr. Alcide Herveaux (and quite possibly Sam Merlotte and Luna) next season!

I’m excited about the upcoming werewolf storyline. They weren’t used very well in the past 2 seasons. (I thought Coot would have had a larger role.) I still love my vampires, but I can enjoy all the supes on True Blood.

I don’t know i’m not too interested in the werewolves on tb. I’d rather see more of my vamps and maybe a new species all together.

I agree. So far the were story line has been extraneous and very dull. MUCH prefer the vampire flashbacks, politics, the whole story. And after all this is about the vampires coming out of the coffin as the primary story. When we see just a few minutes of vamp and 30 min of boring were, and other stories that don’t add to the main plot — it loses me. Some of the other plot lines, like of course the witches, compliment the plot points well, but honestly for me they could have had no were at all in last season and it would have not been missed at all.

Can only hope they find a way to make it more interesting…
