Oh. My God. There’s something about seeing Stephen and Alex together that just curls up my toes. So very yum. Thankyou ladies *fans self dramatically* I’m a bit too distracted to comment on anything else except everyone looks kinda drunk. Especially Kate Bosworth.
It’s weird to see Alex with his hair so relaxed – he didn’t gel it as much, so yay! Hee hee the party starts so the jacket gets unbuttoned and the hair all wacky.
And yup, I spy Kate as well. Anyone wanna guess what’s going to be posted out the wazoo on Just Jared tomorrow?

It’s terrible tacky to say, but yes, I don’t think she’d be getting the press at this point if they weren’t a couple.
I agree – she is getting more out of this than he is. To me it’s her who’s making it out to be a bit more of a ‘showmance’ than he is. I mean, you can go to an event to support the guy you’re seeing, but you don’t have to walk the red carpet at it to make the news, taking attention away from people actually involved in the show. I’m not saying whether I think they are or aren’t in a defined relationship (we all know ‘something’ is going on, but how serious it is, on the other hand…) but there are tasteful ways to handle it, and then there is famewhoreing.
Anyways, Steve and Alex look to have such a cute bromance. It reminds me of the video from last year’s Comic-Con where it’s the triangle being interviewed and Steve says that he can confirm that Bill and Alex end up together and then they talk about the sexual tension being the reason Anna had to sit between them, and the chemistry, and while Anna tries to talk the two of them are giggling and giving sexy looks to each other. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6RmkXst6BQ

KB-does this with every relationship, she usually is in the news for whoever she is dating either that or what she is wearing. It’s also been rumored that she has been known to alert the papz whenever she is out with someone so she can be in the news. Since he has been able to keep other relationships private(you didn’t see any of this when he was with ERW) and every relationship of hers is always made very public, i’m going to assume it is more her doing. I don’t even care, sometimes the celeb obsession with their relationships get out of hand.
That may explain the fact that I’ve heard of her only if she’s dating someone, was she the one dating Orlando Bloom. or Jude Law?

Veruca, so you are saying that if one famous person of a show (Alex) is dating another famous person not involved with said show (Kate) that she can’t walk the red carpet? That Kate was famewhoring? So was Michael Emerson famewhoring when he was on the red carpet with his wife? Speaking of Carrie Preston, there are snotty Michael Emerson fans who make fun of her just because she is married to him, which is very unfair to her. I detect the same thing rumbling amongst Askars fans when it comes to Kate B. Just like the old Patsy Cline song “I’ve got your picture, she’s got you” Delete it if you must, but do I have a point?
No deleting going on here, just snark from us admins, if deserved. You have a fair point, but people tend to have a very low opinion of La Bosworth, and not just devoted AS fans who probably don’t like anyone he dates. She’s not exactly a serious actor like Michael Emerson, and is known for courting attention *shrugs*
I agree. I have nothing against Kate, except how she constantly manages to get her name in the media despite not having had a significant role since the craptacular Superman Returns (and no she wasn’t the worst part of that one).
My beef is that if she was there to support Alex and he (or she) decided they would not walk the red carpet together, then she could have just been inside to watch the show and go to the party – that’s still supporting him. By walking the red carpet alone, she was drawing attention to herself and away from those actually involved in the show. She (and he) would have known that her walking the red carpet, alone, at his premiere would get her name in the news.
My thought is that yes, they knew the attention would be there and that it is basically even more confirmation that they are ‘something’, but he obviously did not want to acknowledge or draw attention to the relationship at the premiere.
That is why I say its ‘famewhoring’. Her name is basically in the media because of her relationship with Alex, and wearing a sexy dress to his big premiere and drawing attention to herself keeps her name in the news. I’m not doubting that she did want to support him, but there are classier ways to do it than by taking attention from the people whose blood, sweat and tears actually went into the project. Google the news for Alex or True Blood from the premiere – a $hitload of the articles that come up are talking about her.
Again, I have nothing against her. I absolutely love her movie Win a Date with Tad Hamilton (makes me feel all giggly) and don’t think she’s completely untalented. I think she is pretty (though I want to introduce her to a McDonald’s happy meal) and I think that they look good together. But there’s showing support for your boyfriend with whom you have not confirmed a relationship, and there’s supporting him while keeping your name in the news. One is infinitely classier than the other.
