Michelle Forbes who played Maryann, the now dead Maenad in True Blood seasons 1 and 2 has been added to the guest list at DragonCon. She will join Sam Trammell, Nelsan Ellis and Kristen Bauer.
DragonCon, a mega convention, takes place in Atlanta, GA, during Labor Day weekend (September 3 – September 6, 2010). The event considers itself, “The largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the US.”
In addition to film and television personalities (yes, several Twilight stars will be there), this convention includes a wide array of fandoms including comics, art and authors. For fans of the paranormal fiction genre (and I know you’re out there), Sherilyn Kenyon, Laurell K. Hamilton and others will be attending. If you’re interested in this event, we suggest you start looking for a hotel now as the five host hotels are already sold out and so are three of the overflow hotels.
