Jim Parrack

Jim Parrack, who plays nice guy Hoyt Fortenberry on True Blood, has been cast in the indie drama Joint Body, written/directed by Biran Jun. Mark Pellegrino (Lost, Supernatural) has been cast as the lead as an ex-con who’s ex-wife is keeping him from seeing their daughter. He ultimately gets involved with an equally lonely stripper and saves her from an unlikely assailant and is forced to re-evaluate his freedom as he evades the law and faces demons from his past. The cast also includes Alicia Witt (Friday Night Lights).

Produced by James Choi and Max Velez, filming is set to begin next month in Illinois.
