I agree Jay, I want James Frain added as a regular too. He’s much more interesting than Joe M’s Alcide and he got regular status for next season. Franklin Mott is an interesting character with all that psychotic funny going on.

I don’t “THINK” I love James Frain/Franklin Mott, I KNOW I LOVE HIM! James Frain and Denis O’Hare have given me reason to swoon all over again over True Blood! I love this show – never stale, never dull, never boring – JUST BRILLIANT and that is because of the BRILLIANT CAST and WRITING STAFF! THANK YOU ALAN BALL – thank you, thank you.
Why anyone would choose Joe M as a show regular over James is so far beyond “epic fail” that it isn’t even funny.

This could be one of the problems of following the books. Alcide is a stronger character in the books than Franklin Mott, but a poor choice for the show IMHO. AB has made Franklin a much more interesting character than Alcide so why keep Alcide?

James frain is so cute (and so is the guy standing next to him) I love Franklin I know he is a crazy as hell but I don’t care I love me some Frankie any guy that can make a girl’s eyes roll to the back of her head is OK with me.
Even though I did enjoy Tara kicking some serious ass and bashing some head I’am sad it had to be Franklin I wanted to see at least another sex scene. When he is all healed up he will be pissed off and he will know exactly where she is because she had his blood.
I want Franklin to become a regular too he captured our hearts with helping Tara beat up some redneck and by crying like a little beeyotch.
