I was thinking Lorena, but shes not powerful nor influential, so Russell is a good guess. I am SO glad I don’t read the books right now. I have no feelings of dread, just insane curiosity!
If Bill pledges to Russell then he doesn’t work for the queen and he could call Sookie and let her know where he is. What’s going on?????

If he pledged his allegiance to Lorena, that’d surely make Sookie toss her engagement ring. It doesn’t take much to flip *her* allegiance, after all. ;-)
I can see Jason trying for a better career than parish road crew supervisor, but I don’t think he has the personal discipline for the PD. Still, it’ll be fun watching him try.

I was thinking, maybe Bill is pledging his allegiance with the weres, maybe they save his life or something, or is that too far out there? I know Vampires hate weres or maybe it’s something to do with the Bellefleurs. I am so glad AB is not following the books so much. This going be so good, i’m super excited. I have Season 2 on Demand now too, up to Episode 8.

i love the books and the tv show with the littel twiseds they have added it still keeps you wanting more on the tv cuz your still not quite sure whats going to happen cuz you dont no what they have changed but what ever they do twist round im sure it will be fab always is . its like when you watch a film and your sure you no whats going to happen next and then it dose something so difrent its fab . as for what happens i think it is lorean he pledges to but i think sooke will still get her like the book so not so bad for bill but i do think him pledging to her will upset sooke enoff to split them up maybe lorena tells sookey her and bill sleep together to prove his pledg to her and thats what splits them
Yep, I’m thinking that the pledge is to Lorena as well. Probably he does that to protect Sookie or whatever, course that is what will break them apart.

I am thinking lorana also because their is some metniton of that in the books, to protect sookie, I really did not think that they whould got their. that is intersting that sookie goes to eric, that is differnt from the books, as I am currently re-rreading club dead to prepare for the new season.
My daughter just assured me that Sookie does indeed go to Eric (for help finding Bill) in the book…after Bill is “missing”.
I think reading those silly books in order to know what’s coming ahead in Alan Ball’s series is a waste of time. More than one actor has said they’re not following the books and that’s what makes this series great.
OK Liv, y’all have convinced me that it’s Lorena and it makes some sense after reading Mariana’s interview. I can’t wait to see Bill and Lorena together again.
Some of us don’t read the books to find out what’s ahead in the TV series. Damn…would we be disappointed if we did!
I was wondering when the synopsis would start to show up. How fascinating. I’m looking forward with some girlish trepidation to exactly how they’re going to send Snook off into a tailspin so she dumps Bill. So far, apart from lying about some shit, he hasn’t actually done anything wrong. He’s the ‘good guy’. The transition to ‘dubious guy’ will be either done really badly and piss me off greatly (like in the stupid books), or be fab storytelling.

I read the books and I’m actually very happy they changed It up a bit. It would be extremely boring to know everything that happens next. I’m really starting to enjoy the TV series more then the books.

“Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette”…not the same MistressX. There’s another (casting) spoiler that has Eric hiring a vampire lawyer to write up his will. Maybe Eric is trying to make amends for torturing Lafayette?

So much to consider, so many possibilitites. Could be Bill allies himself with Russell. Russell may be shooting for a major coo against SA. So again we may have Bill pitted against Eric. The two working for opposite camps.
As to how Lorena fits in, she could surprise us be doing something good for Bill for a change. Freeing him?? Or helping him reunite with Sookie?? This last would be farfecthed. WE know how much she is obsessed with Bill. I sure understand that one!! LOL
But maybe she will feel what love really means by helping him and maybe letting him really go.
