True Blood Spoilers: Who Will Return in Season 4?

Oh wait, you knew that already?
Well, how about Bon Temps’ other new additions—Denis O’Hare, Marshall Allman, Kevin Alejandro and Lauren Bowles? We have the scoop:
Believe it or not (and after last week’s, um, sunny episode ending, we were inclined to go with the not), all of the aforementioned newbies will be back on True Blood for season four, according to sources. So it looks like all those pretty faces up there survive next Sunday’s “bloody” (per Alexander Skarsgård) season three finale—even the (gulp) spine-snatchin’ King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington. (Hide yer babies!)
Denis is set to return to the HBO hit next year, according to sources, but don’t expect to see Russell too early in the year. We have it on good authority (Alan Ball’s) that initially witches will reign supreme, but I’m told the plan is for Russell to reappear later in the season.
As for Lafayette’s lover, Jesus (Kevin Alejandro), Nelsan tells me, “We’re partners in crime now, my boy toy, so he will be back.” Adds Kevin with a knowing grin: “I’m hearing rumors about that, too. I’ve never been a part of anything this big before.”
Sam’s wayward little bro isn’t going anywhere either, although he’s mastered the tease.
When asked if he’ll be back, Marshall told me: “Yeah, I am. But I mean, hey! How do you know?! Come on, now! Spoiler alert!” We’ll take that as a big, fat, yessiree!
And rounding out the ranks as a newly minted series regular (she told us herself after hitting up the Emmys her sister Julia Louis-Dreyfus—yep, that one!) is Lauren, who recently joined the show as resident Wiccan Holly.
Why am I not surprised? After this season, anything is possible.
I’m thrilled that Russell will be back! WHEEEEEEE! I like Tommy Mickens-Merlotte, too.

oh I hope that they keep Witches in a good light.. We’re the only ones that exist in real life. So far so good With Holly ( except for the blood drops in the Decotation. We don’t do that but oh well that little bit isn’t going to hurt us) We love the show and cant wait for several more years worth of True Blood..
I wonder if they’ll make an attempt to differentiate Wiccans from witches, or whether on TB they’ll be any difference.
ive used blood many times in rituals, especially in worship …. it is very powerful and not harmful…i use one of those pricking things diabetics use to test their blood sugar!

Well I’m interested, though I’m not entirely sure it can really exist. Sick people exist everywhere. I’m sure that among the witches, if they existed, even if they’re good people, ONE of them should have tried to use her powers for bad deeds and personnal profit (that’s how some humans are) and, everyone would have noticed that sooner or later, which didn’t happen.
So yeah, I don’t really believe in it.

Yay hope it’s true about Russell still being around in season 4 . Hope Alcide is given a lot more to do / better storyline but i’m still a bit worried about this whole witches / amnesia thing !!
I can’t effing wait!! Dead to THe World(a lone with All Together Daed) is my favorte book! I know Allen puts his own spen on the books but that’s what keeps me watchin’!! If True Blood was nominted for Godfrey and a meanad, it’ll win for Russell! Dennis O’Hare has a new fan!

Long live the undead King! Just hope they don’t turn him into a Batman villain, disfigured and nuts and plotting the overthrow of civilization surrounded by the remnants of his SS werewolves.
The only news that truly matters to me here is that Russell doesn’t meet the true death. The King lives! YES! I’m with Acanthus on the hope that Russell doesn’t turn into a pantomime villain. He was at his best in episodes 2 to 7 – witty, manipulating and sly.
I understand the whole walk towards world domination as being part of ‘the madness of King Russell’, which erupted because of the trauma of losing Talbot. Before that happened, Russell was talking about’ taking the world back from humans’ as a ‘dream’ (conversation with Eric, Episode 6), not a practical plan.
Depending on what happens to him in episode 12, the King might get immobilised for a while before being freed (possibly by a witch?) and taking some time to ‘rebuild’ himself, mental health included (vampires seem to be able to recover from everything – being burnt, wounded, etc). Anyway, we’ll know when Season 4 airs…;-)
