spoilers1 1024x256 spoilers season 4 alan ball I know some of you are eagerly anticipating True Blood season 4.

Alan Ball has revealed some spoilers regarding a certain character…

From Ausiello:

Series creator Alan Ball reveals that he’ll be introducing Hallow Stonebrook, the were-sorceress from Charlaine Harris’ fourth Sookie novel, Dead to the World. Preferring to refer to the character as a necromancer, the boss man says she’s “actually a medium. She communicates with the dead, and she’s interested in developing further powers.”

In the book, Hallow casts a spell on Eric, so um, not sure what more desirable power there can be. Anyway, she’s described as a tall, trim brunette.

If you look at TB AB only uses the book as a template. Remember Sookie and Bill were in the shower and Not EN and Sookie. I am Sorry that slime Eric makes me want to puk. He is a self centered ego maniac. he would be terrible with her. He used her cousin to find out info. Bill just looked it up. Bill has layed his life down many many times for Sookie. Eric said he would be there for her and never was. Sookie needs a vamp who loves her. Bill loves her so much. They are soulmates like AB said and deserve to be together after all they have been through. It is beyond me why anyone would wish a preditor/sociopath on her. Bill will make Sookie happy no matter what. ” He said he would love her forever. The lady who plays Pam said that Sookie is only an infatuaton to Eric. Infatuations do not last but true love does. Do not get me wrong Eric is a great nemesis the best I have seen in a while but he does not deserve her. He needs a selfish person like him to have in his life not have giving loving person like Anna’s character. He is 6’4″ Viking slime like i have said-sorry that is my oppinion . you can like what you want . For me I love Bill he is the best to me.

Please! Every time i watch Bill and Sooky interact i feel like throwing up. It was nice in the beginning of the series but its getting too sappy. I like the chasing game. I like the drama, on the one hand feeling sorry for Bill and the other where watching Eric and Sooky gives me butterflies. Bill got Sookies Virginity, be happy that they will always have that and move on. These things are called Drama for a reason. If they went for the Bill and Sook happy ending it would most possibly end the series. Like the end of a disney movie. I don’t want this series to end on an early season like so many good shows. I wouldn’t care if they never resolve who gets the girl. Let her keep her indecisiveness. :(

I think most of these People rooting for Bill and Sookie’s True love and purity Seem to have quite hate filled comments. Yes Eric has a bad side but he’s a vampire, a respected one, he has some good but only shows it when necessary. The sookie character is drawn to helping people find that good within and embrace it. I think its part of her fairy nature. She’s drawn to Eric because of his relationship and loyalty to Godrick. Which shows he is truly capable of love. Also she was asked to take care of him. I’d like to see her stay true to her word that she would.

Bill doen’t seem to trust that she knows what she is doing. He seems the possessive type that would keep her under lock and key if he could like he does with himself and Jessica. Sookie seems more of a free spirit out for adventure. Eric is true to his nature and does not try to hide who he is like Bill. I think people are forgetting that Bill killed that man in Sookies family. She would have never wanted that. He never told her about that and He continues to lie to her on countless occasions.
Eric killed Talbot to avenge his family’s death. It was Loyal. There was no loyalty in what Bill did. If Bill really was a good guy he wouldn’t have left Tara there without trying to do something. He could have involved Sookie in the search for what she was instead of keeping it secret from her. Keeping hidden files etc. It’s like he thinks she’s too dumb or not strong enough. When you love someone you trust them. It’s no wonder she can’t trust Bill. Where as Eric treats her more as an equal, aware that she has her own power up her sleeve and can fend for herself. He only steps in when needed and does not assume she is weak.

        • fbforbill says:

Plkease. The relationship between eric and Sookie looks forced..Eric does not love humans -sorry just quoting him. Bill has saved her countless times. most of the time cause Eric put in danger. Eric had tricked her into drinking his blood, he has lied countless times to her qway more than Bill. He left her and Bill for dead and they had pick up the pieces cause all he thought of was hisself. By the way Rabids are natorious for slamming Bill calling him an rapest,Troll and countless underther belt slams about Bill. Bill loves sookie and wants her safe. he cared about before he gave her blood. he loved her the first time the met. Especially merlottes when they seta meeting later. Eric only does what is good for Eric. By the way Bill and Sookie are the stars and Eric is not even mentioned in the credits till last. Last in this case does not meen best. Like i have said before AB says Bill and Sookie are soulmates and Bill’s love for Sookie is true. Eric’s is lust. Lust is fleating and love lasts. So please look at the facts of the TV story line -forget the books it isn’t a book. If they go by the books it would be like a encyclopedia. Sookie is Bills miracale-sorry for the spelling. I am glad we both love TB. It rocks but we need to agree to disagree you can like the little boy looking Eric and look at the real man Bill.

          • gencott says:

How dare you say that the love between Eric and Sookie is forced.Eric did not set up for Sookie to be almost Killed by the Ratray’s.Just so he could save her and give her his blood to get into her toughts and get her for the Queen of Louisanna like Bill did.I know that Bill fell in love with Sookie but at least Eric has never Lied to her like Bill Has.Eric did say that he does not love humans but it says even in the books that Sookie is not Human. She is Half Fairy.Sookie has more Chymistry with Eric than she does with Bill.I just hope that Alan Bill folowes the books so that We on Team Eric can finally get or Shower scean and Love making. So I hope that this does happend in season 4.I will be waiting 7 mo.for this to happend. After all Alexsander Skarsgard has been moved up in the cast lis from number 5 to number 2 and Stephen Moyer has been moved to number 4(He was number 2) so what that tells me we will be seeing more of Eric than Bill next Season. So I am defanitly on Team Eric and Sookie.

        • Alexandria says:

Charlie- So right. Bill is a wimp. I really am annoyed by his presence on the show in general. Eric FTW. Or that new sexy werewolf. yeeeah.

          • alicia murrell says:

Okay first of all the books are one thing the show is another. Bill I will admit was brought there for a mission to get Sookie to fall in love with him, but his plan didn’t work. What might have started off as a plan he didn’t count on falling in love with her for real and once he did he changed his plans. It’s no different then those movies where the guy date a girl for a bet and really end up fallin for the girl truly. Once he fell in love he protected her from the people out to get her, the queen, Eric, etc. he knew they had ulterior motives like he once did he knew b/c he was once involved in it. He shouldn’t have lied that was the bad part. But lets face it people on the show Bill and Sookie have way more chemistry than the Bill and Sookie of the books that’s why the actors are MARRIED NOW!!! Eric and Sookie on the show do look forced. When he first kissed her it seemed akward. There was no build no tease if they had chemistry I would have to admit it whether I liked Eric more or Bill, but it don’t translate on screen for them. And for the record Sookie does need protecting from herself she’s at fault her mouth, her gift gets her in trouble everytime Bill was like be quiet or no Sookie her dumb a** wouldn’t listen. The scene wit Tara let’s face it what could he do those vampires would have rip him to pieces and he was joining them to ultimately protect Sookie. He was playing a role he is a vampire, but his position ain’t like Eric’s he is weaker b/c he’s a younger vampire. And if you look at the first episode as soon as they looked at each other there was passion intensity and he didn’t give her his blood yet and she couldn’t be glamoured. When he ordered the wine to stay there and she dreamed of him that night before the Rattrays beat her up, no blood exchange yet. She was hot for Bill as soon as they met so that’s why I don’t understand when Eric said to Bill that he gave her his blood the first night they met b/c he didn’t he gave it to her the second night, but by that time the chemistry was already there.

      • sookierox29 says:

Your wrong eric acts tpugh, and like 4++’ 5+24,( .*((23 (+ ::-. !gc if he does he knows that he won’t be able to finish what he started a1000 yrs ago. U can’t blame him for that. His fortitude and plain stick to it ivness or whatev. Makes him more true to himself and thise he holds down. He got @am, how’s Bill doin for JessicaV not so goodM 2ric doesn’t front and Bill is mad shady. I used to love Bill for SookieN but 2ric is def where uts @ and hopefully where she ends up.

      • arakis7 says:

If Bill and Sookie stay together all lovey dovey, then the story concerning their characters will get boring. If nothing else, Eric being with Sookie will keep everyone’s interest peaked. That is, you’ll keep the fans engaged, those pro Bill and pro Eric. The suspense will be maintained. The dangling question will be which will she choose? I hope Sookie does get with Eric, at least for a while. And if they follow Sookie’s love interest in the books, there’s another player. I hope they keep things spicey and mix it up. There’s even a brief lover for Sookie in the short stories surrounding the series. Variety is the spice of life!

      • Autumn4Daze says:

You called Eric a self centered ego maniac, then what is Bill. They both would be terrible with her. At least, Eric amend when he lies to her, while Bill is a lie. Bill used her, looked up infor on her, and lied every step of the way. Bill had layed his life down many times for Sookie, only because he didn’t want to lose his favorite blood supply. Eric is there when he thinks it is necessary. Sookie needs to know the she human/fairies and can die like anyone. Sookie should stop putting herself in harm ways. Pam was right when she said, that Sookie is only an infatuaton to Eric, and Bill. Infatuations do not last, but true love does. For me, I think Sookie should just date humans. Oh,…..Eric is SEXY HOTT!!

        • alicia murrell says:

Not true about the blood supply remember (on the show) when he stood outside her window when her grandma was killed. He hadn’t tasted her blood yet. I think the roles were reversed he was trying to lay his spell on her but she ended up casting one on him when he first kissed her I think that’s when he fell for her. After the initial lie he just had to keep lying so she wouldn’t find out and lose her. Everything he does is for the best interest of Sookie, pushing Eric in the cement remember if he die that would release Sookie from owing Eric the deal she made with him. The queen have to go b/c her wanting Sookie, Lorena, he just want to love her I believe Eric just wants her b/c Bill have her and he’s a alpha male

    • Gwenivere says:

I agree that the main structure of the books should be followed. So far they have been, with a few minor changes. Friends of mine have complained that they have gone away from the books. To that I say only a bit the roots of the books are still there and I think that is the point AB is trying to achieve with TB. A foundation of the novels by CH but with enough flexibility to give all characters depth needed to satisfy a larger TV audience.

    • ProdigyR says:

I’ve been hearing & reading the whole Bill vs Eric thing on this site and others. I like them both. Bill is the sweet, sensitive, treat women like they’re helpless, gallant, kind of guy. Eric is straight forward for the most part, tells the truth even if it’s not to his benefit (mostly), and has a sensitive side with Sookie that he doesn’t like feeling or revealing. Plus, I think Bill and Eric are both totally hot. Bill in that cute, courteous, school boy charming way. Eric in that more rugged, earthy, sensual way. Push come to shove, I’d like the show to at least show Sookie getting temporarily involved with Eric to see if that works. If they play it to where Eric has an inner struggle about caring for a human, controlling himself with her, etc., making him recognize & somewhat embrace the more loving, caring side of himself that he keeps hidden…that would be awesome. If they put Sookie & Eric together and keep him being out for number one and nobody else, selfish, etc….it’ll fail. If they choose to follow the books…even better!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Even with all of her daily hardships & challenges, I would so take Sookie’s place in a heartbeat. But, man, what are the chances that you have always felt like an outsider in a small town in Louisiana. Then, when you find a man interesting, he’s the town’s first vampire. Then, just to make it more interesting, you find out that your boss is a shapeshifter, you find out you’re part fairy & that’s what has made you the way you are, you find yourself wanting another vampire who acts like a dick, a werewolf is attracted to you, and, wow, just for toppers, you find out while you were away for a while, that a freak of nature in the form of Ensign Ro has taken over your house, smeared it with mud, and has gotten the entire town to have freaky orgy parties at your house. LOL! What ARE the chances? I’d still trade places with her. Never a dull moment!!! :D

    • Beesha says:

Yay the 4th book is my favorite and I am looking forward to the witch putting the whammy on Eric and sending him to Sookie’s house!

  2. gia says:

so the witches will be the focus of S4. Cool.

      Ideas for Season 4

I love true blood, but I think if they wait tell June of 2011 that will be ridiculous. It’s true the special effects are great and a shorter time period might make it less amazing, but how about diving deeper into the minds and the hearts of the main characters. I’m extremely interested in hearing more about Sookie, Bill and Eric. If the series turns out like the books, I won’t be so happy. I honestly want to see Bill and Sookie together over Eric any day. Stir up some drama, maybe a little affair, but in the end keep it Sookie and Bill. All this talk about witches and magic is interesting, but have it tie into Sookie’s powers or history. I still want more from the unseen fairies over this witch twist. The series needs to settle down though as far as branching off with other characters. The central plot needs to be just that, central. Jason’s new girl friend is interesting as well, I think it’s plenty time Sookie found out about her too. I think bringing some sense of unity to the characters would also do it some good. Get them all together, maybe a spur of the moment wedding? :)

I’d even love to see some more of Sam, Alcide, Pam, Jessica and Claudine. The werewolves are great, but lets see some more of them, especially Alcide, it seems like he fell off the face of the planet as he’s been gone for quite a few episodes. As far as all the sex, it’s necessary, but not overly. Please make it a decent balance… Less really is more. Also, maybe not so much between Layfette and his eye candy. To make things more exciting, kill off a character who’s been there a while, just not Bill, Sookie or Eric cause that would mess up the show too much and cause an outrage, which I would join. I wouldn’t kill off Jason either because it’s too much drama and unrealistic if Sookie looses all her family members. Good Luck True Blood season 4, can’t wait for it to come out… Really, I can’t wait!!!

  3. Crazy4Bill says:

Actually, I’m hoping that does not happen. This is not the books, and I like the difference. Go AB!

    • ruthieroux says:

i like Allan Ball’s vision also but without the books we would not have the wonderfulness of Bill and Sookie. Bring the witches on! i have faith in Bill and Sookie!

    • Evichu says:

the books are AWESOME …they are fucking it all….wtf…wts… pifff i think i gonna stop watching it :/ what a mess..is senseless

    • fbforbill says:

You go C4B, you are so right. Bill has suffered enough AB let him at least have the girl.

      • SWard says:

Bill did get Sookie .. in real life! Hope Season 4 follows the books but have a feeling once they put Sookie and Eric together it might give everyone what they want and perhaps hurt the series. Have a feeling we may have a longer wait. Hope not though! Go Team Eric!

    • Shara Lauren says:

I agree Crazy4Bill! I love that they pull things out of the books, but I am happy it’s not following the books.
      So smart! :)

  4. shocknawe says:

Book 4 -yea they F*&ked. then he got his memory back and let me see, were they together book 5 -no? book 6 – no? book 7 – no? book 8 no? Follow the book – sure go ahead.

    • Liz79 says:

wait a second. wait a second. wait a second. I’ve never read the books – no I don’t have any interest – but they don’t get together until book 9????? What book are they on now? 10???? I always assumed they got together earlier in the series like in book 2 or something. So, what’s up with all the caterwauling about Alan following the books if they don’t really get together until later? Color me confused.

      • Liz79 says:

To be clear I was speaking about Charlaine’s books when I asked what # they were on now.

      • shocknawe says:

Precisely. I can not figure the intensity at all, or the theory that if AB follow the books E/S must be together. As noted, they F*&Ked when he lost his memory in Book 4 but until book 9, they were not together and even into book 10 she questions love vs blood bond. To me it’s a whole lot of malarky over nothing.

If you love Eric, cool. If you love Bill, cool. Whether you prefer the books or the show – who cares – this site is about the show and it’s clear that there are times when AB follows the books, times when he deviates – like Jessica and how wonderful was that.

        • Sue says:

          and Lafayette!

        • Liz79 says:

Wow. Now color me surprised. So, in terms of timing he’s totally following the books? Thanks for the enlightenment. It’s obvious they are moving towards Sookie and Eric. Obvious. I just thought there must be some valid reason as to why people were collectively going batshit crazy over when, when, WHEN they would get together. It’s in the books that’s when! I’m interested to see what they cook up for Bill now. The sky’s the limit for that vamp. I hate to see him sad over Sookie but that is going to provide SM with some great material. Heartbreak sells folks. Ask Jane Austen :).

          • Tricia says:

Alan Ball is pulling people out of the books at random. For one Hunter isnt in the book till book 8 From Dead to Worse. Actually Hadley was never live in the books. Sookie didnt know where she was till she was dead. Read the Books. They are the basis of True Blood with a twist lol

          • Nora says:

No, we’re not going batshit crazy wanting Sookie and Eric to get together NOW, we don’t want them together now, but by this time they were becoming friends, and she had started to trust him. There was a fantastic back and forth between them. She didn’t hate him, she got a kick out of him. The reason she started trusting him is that he did things with and for her that AB has completely given to Bill to do. That’s why we have been going batshit crazy.

The books aren’t romances, they’re mystery/detective stories, Sookie dates a variety of people, and by making this a freakin’ romance story it takes away from everything special about this world. That’s what makes ME batshit crazy.

Bill fans have been made happy for 3 years, if it had been the other way around would all of you have taken it in complete grace? I think not. If AB decides to finally write in a relationship for Eric and Sookie, I will look forward to the response coming out of Bill Land.

            • Lividity says:

Hard to say, because I am not really a bookie, although I have read them all. If it were Eric/Sookie for 3 years, perhaps it would be just as good. But you yourself say that the books are not romance, and that is what makes you crazy. So, can you say that if it were Eric/Sookie romance for 3 years that you’d be just as batshit crazy as now?

        • cr says:

Well, except for a tiny fling with a certain events coordinator, she’s not really in a romantic relationship for awhile after book 4.

This is not necessarily a bad thing.

        • fbforbill says:

Exactly. like i said if they seperate the leads they ruin the show.

          • mhouser says:

Actually, I disagree. Keeping the leads together all the time is boring. I don’t watch TB to see a Hallmark made for TV movie where the happy couple goes through life together forever and ever . Watch a Disney movie if you want that.

        • ECUgirl66 says:

The intensity for me about Eric and Sookie being together is that those that watch the show see many of the loving, caring good things that Bill has done for Sookie were actually done by Eric in the books (i.e., killing Longshadow, giving her his blood when she was attacked by Bill, hot sex shower scene, protectively telling Sooking what she is while Bill hid it for his job and gain). I LOVE LOVE AB and True Blood and without this show I would have never sought out the books which I love as much. I’m okay when AB gets creative with the story but I don’t like when he changes the intent of the characters…especially Bill and Eric. I’m Team Eric but I’m also Team Sookie, Team True Blood, etc.

  5. TruBNewB says:

So I thought when Holly was first announced, that some people thought she was Hallow? I take it these are two different people. So Holly will just end up being a plain ole witch, while the other is a “were-sorceress”? What the heck is a were-sorceress anyway?

    • Tricia says:

Hallow and her brother Mark from the book are Were Witches. In the Book they are Werewolfs who also have powerfull magic and strong as a vampire because they drink and sell vampire blood. Kinda what Alan is doing with Calvin Norris and Hotshot. Hallow wanted Eric to sleep with her and when he refused she put a spell on him where he lost his memory and was running down the road towards Sookies. Its Dead to the World, it is my favorite book of the series by Charlaine Harris-Book 4. But I like that they are not following so closely but this is the one book i wanted to see on screen.

      • TruBNewB says:

Thanks for the explanation Tricia. I knew I didn’t like the weres for some reason, lol. I think so far Alcide is the only werewolf that’s not into the V. With TB’s Calvin and Hotshot, they are selling the V only because Eric threatened them, right? So just werewolves are into vampire blood, but not werecats?

  6. shocknawe says:

I’m not completely sure but I think Holly was a witch but Hallow and her brother Mark were super powerful witches who were strung out on V and maybe were’s also. They were pretty intense, where Holly was more of a regular person who practiced some witchcraft. Anyone help?

    • Ellina says:

Holly considered herself a Wiccan and was more into motherearth and not into black magic. Hallow and mark were witches that were drinking V which made them more powerful.

  7. Hope says:

All I’m asking for is the shower scene..HELLO!!!…

    • shocknawe says:

LMAO! As I say – we must keep perspective – good one.

    • Aemac says:

I think you might have got it this past episode just with an AB twist. : )

    • mhouser says:

Me too, but AB hijacked that Eric goodness like he did for many other Eric-centric key points. Ok, fine, fine, the show is different than the book, but come on, throw us a bone here. Maybe its because AP and SM are together in real life??? I don’t know, but Bill is getting boring. This thread seems to be more pro bill, but I think that is unusual. We want Eric!

      • rosalind thomas says:

i am with you i want to see more Eric because Bill is boring at this stage of the game; also why has HBO got us waiting until June? making billions should entile every 3 mos. a season.

  8. cr says:

Isn’t a necromancy raising the dead in some fashion, not just communicating with them.

    • Lividity says:

You got it CR! Although I admit my only knowledge of necromancers comes from Diablo II. I think way cooler than “normal” witches.

      • cr says:

Well for me it’s been reading Laurell Hamilton’s Anita Blake series, and Anita is a necromancer. She doesn’t commune with them in a ouija board sense, she raises them.

There are times when I think AB makes his non-vamp supernatural characters too ‘busy’ with multiple supe traits-isn’t Hallow being a were-witch enough?

        • Lividity says:

Oh my, I completely forgot about LH. I read the first one, but that’s all. From both, seems like necromancer can raise the dead. And seriously? That is a good thing on TB, cause a lot of my favorites are already gone.

        • Cranky says:

There are times when I think AB makes his non-vamp supernatural characters too ‘busy’ with multiple supe traits-isn’t Hallow being a were-witch enough?
          ______________________________________________

Not if she’s going to help Russel raise Talbot from the dead cr?

      • Sarah UK says:

Necromancy angle definitely differs from the book …only other “necromancer ” i have seen was during Angel season 5 and he definitely re-animated the dead !

  9. Sarah UK says:

I still have faith that season 4 is NOT going to turn out exactly like the book …sorry i really don’t want to watch the inevitable Eric hook up which i didn’t really like in book land either . Just my opinion !

    • fbforbill says:

I am glad someone else does not like that. I want Bill and Sookie together.. They have blood bonded and are in love.. I started watching TB because of the Bill/Sookie vibe. I am incureable romantic. If and i hope not Eric hook up I will pine for Bill and Sookie 4 Ever. If the ladies are right the hook up will be short lived-I hope Ihope ihope. Then she can go back to Bill. Yah- Bill and Sookie 4 Ever!!!!!

  10. Ellina says:

Just finished book 10. No really like 15 min ago, and I’ve gotta say that I’ll be extremely disappointed if there’s no book 11. Anyway, just got into the show about a week before season 3, obviously catching up on the series beforehand, and read all of the books in the past week, and even though the show is quite different from the books, I actually love it! The books are great, but the show is actually slightly better! Can’t say I’m crazy about the character changes, but it does make the show more watchable otherwise there would be a new character each week! All I have to say is LOVE IT! one word, Eric. That guy Aleksander who plays him is amazing and totally portrays Eric well. Plus he’s absolutely wonderful to look at :P

    • Lydia says:

According to Charlane Harris, she is contracted to write 13 Sookie novels. She knows how the series will end, but is not sure how many books beyond the 13 she has agreed to it will take. She said it may only take 3 more, maybe up to 5. She knows the ending and is working backwords from that point. Love the books and the show too!

  11. jay says:

    Hallow is a medium…interesting!
My speculation is that at the end of season 3 Eric will exact his revenge and kill russell. Russell will communicate through Hallow (who is a medium) and exact his revenge on Eric through her. She is described as wanting to develop her powers so I think a ‘were’ getting into ‘V’ – erics blood by way of consuming or selling his blood will be whats in it for Hallow!
I think she will also in the process find out about sookie and season 4 will be about eric and sookie hiding out together (in a shower) from this scorerer bitchy-witchy!!! lol

  12. Heather says:

Maybe Russell hires her to commune with Talbot, and avenge his death. Also, Holly said that she was raped by a co worker 15 years ago…for about 5 and a half hours….was it in a basement? Was it a vampire? A Viking vampire? Maybe there’s more to that story…and I wonder if we’ll see Yvetta again? Hell hath no fury and all that…

  13. cr says:

Or Russell is entombed, but being technically dead Hallow is able to communicate with him?

I’m going to presume that AB isn’t going to be using the book reason that Hallow and ‘friends’ were in town.

  14. Chels says:

Well I think the show is very entertaining, even if it is a little rushed and very busy. I also love the books. I am not saying Sookie should be with Eric for the rest of the show but since this show is based at least loosely on the books Bill should be out of the picture with her. After all, once she leaves him in book 3 he is not even really in the books very much, and when he is it is just as a creepy stalker or hurting Sookie. I love SM and hope he gets his own plot line kind of like when he was in Jackson this season. I think Bill is a stronger character without Sookie. They are poison to each other, niether of them are as good together as they are apart.

    • fbforbill says:

If you want to call true love poison. Eric is a coniving bastard and has hurt way more people than Bill. he killed talbut jusst for spite. Now the crazy vamp has f*cked up the people/vamp relationship. Like AB has said he uses the books as a template and thinks that this is love story between sookie and Bill. He has also said: he is a Bill fan, he thinks they are soulmates, and he routes for Sookie and Bill to be together. Stephen and Anna are the stars of TB not Alex he is costar. Some other characters have been added to the show that has changed the plot line quite a bit. Things can change a lot. last of all this is about the SHOW NOT THE STUPID BOOKS-NO OFFENSE TO MISS HARRIS. I like what Charline said “They should be enjoyed as to different types of entertainment. SHOW NOT THE BOOKS!!!!!

  15. billsbaby says:

Not a book reader but I have heard about the “Eric gets amnesia so Sookie hooks up with him” plot and all I have to say is that unless Sookie herself gets amnesia I don’t see how or why she would hook up with Eric!

  16. EroLuv says:

I don’t see why anyone would NOT hook up with Eric lol

  17. Chels says:

Well as the show goes I don’t see why she would either. In the books they are good friends and she really likes Eric as a person. So when she finds him all scared and alone in the world she takes him in, and her friendship and lust turns into romance. He is super sweet when he has amnesia. I am not sure how AB will do it so that it is believable, hell maybe he won’t, but it is a good plot.

  18. Acanthus says:

An ensorceled Viking who’s a pweshus lamb with his shepherdess Sookie, who has the wardrobe for it. Seems inevitable from the hints and spoilers. Depressingly godawful idea, IMO, but maybe it will be short-lived, and maybe it will be touching and maybe I am the Queen of Romania (with a bow to Dorothy Parker, which Russell should have made).

So we are about to meet necromancer Hallow Stonebrook, as in the Resurrection Stone and the Deathly Hallows. (Maybe a bow to JK Rowling there, too. Wonder who’s got the Wand That Cannot be Defeated and the Cloak of Invisibility? ) And who among the Dead Undead are to be summoned? I do hope that KRE somehow survives S3 as the wickedly loose cannon, and that Talbot gets the wake-up call from Ms Stonebrook.

I haven’t read the books, but the world of TB skews off in many different directions. Maybe Hallow exacts a spurned lover’s revenge, or maybe she’s operating on KRE’s orders. Or… Who knows? I’m guessing that a few thousand posts of speculation will be generated between Sept ’10 and June ’11.

In any case: Whereas Marianne’s carry-over legacy has just been mini-minor Eggs ripples, the aftershocks of S3 and KRE are definitely going to be tsunamis in S4. And amid all the general chaos of Eric and Sookie and Bill and Claudine and supes-du-jour , won’t it be amusing to see Nan Flanagan in crisis management PR spin mode?

  19. Kendra says:

Book 4 was my favourite! I mean who doesn’t want to see Eric in a bright red thong ;) Too all those who are concerned about the AB using story arcs from the books I’d like you to ask you’re self this. Hasn’t AB already demonstrated the past 3 years that he can interpret the books and still keep us on the edge of our seats demanding more? I say relax and enjoy the ride. I trust him completely to take care of my girl Sookie and her journey. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go fantasize about tall man made of a block of muscle wearing nothing but a bright red thong…oops did I say that out loud…

    • fbforbill says:

I like the way you blog and think. I think us truebees should live in unity. I may spout off about Bill but that is because i love him so much. I love the Bill/Sookie relationship. I also like the romance, gore, and action. Let’s get along and love who we love. Forgive if offend just a little Bill and Sookie love. I will route for them 4 ever. Did you here Stephen and Anna mite be getting married soon. Yay, Anna and Stephen love them.

  20. TeamSookie says:

Liz79-yeah E/S don’t have an official relationship until much later in the books, well last book to be more specific lol. I don’t want them to get together on the show now so I’m not upset that they’re not together yet and all pissed about. I also think the same thing, well not like they are together in the books at this point. BUT I think what some people are upset about is that they don’t at least have a friendship. In the books he helped her out with things even after book 4, both saving or helping each other. So I can’t speak for all Eric fans but for now all I want to see is at least a friendship form. The timeline is also very different on the show, it’s only been 7 weeks and we’re on S3 but in the books by book 3 it was about a year so people always forget that fact too. I’m sure there are some Eric fans who want to see them in a relationship already but I prefer for it to be a slow process.

I know some Bill fans are not excited about S4 but hey share in the tb love lol. You all had 2 seasons full of B/S, part of S3, we have had NADA, can we get just a taste lol it’s only fair lol

    • fbforbill says:

I guess you do have a point. But i hope it is a short lived relationship. Bill and Sookie have been in a relatrionship for only aboutr 11 epis if I am counting right. That is not long enough to have a lasting relationship. S I want Bill and Sookie to have a chance at love. Eric is more of a playboy and that is totally not Sookie’s taste. Remember when she talks about dates in season 1 wih Bill. One was a playboy mentioning her ” Bush” yuko. This is one of the main reasons i think EN and SS would be bad together and her hating his guts and all. Sorry but like your blog TS. Hope to here more from you.

  21. teambill says:

    nahh screw eric and sookie

they should have a relationship but should not end up together

“In the books bill is a dickhead”

he’s not a dickhead in the show so back off.

Bill shouldn’t end up wuth sookie either, i’d like to see him end up with another character

    • fbforbill says:

I totally agree except to the Sookie thing. If they turn her into a skank maybe. I want them together. I think they could work togwether for the better good.

  22. TeamSookie says:

TeamBill-so what you’re saying is Eric/Bill/Sookie should all just be with separate people.

    “nahh screw eric and sookie”

well since you put it so eloquently and have given such an insightful post to that thought, I guess there is nothing left to say lol

  23. Roswellover says:

First off I’ve read the books and Bill wasn’t a “dickhead”. Eric and Sookie didn’t this “wonderful” friendship. It’s obvious that eric/Sookie are going to hook up, but I think it’s not going to be like the books. I think Alan Ball is going to put his own spin on it. Also, I think eric/Sookie are going to be short lived on the show.

  24. Rachel says:

Besides all the Bill/Eric & Sookie stuff. Whats gonna happen to Tara & Lafayette? I wonder if they are going to become some form of a magical creature?

  25. Chels says:

All I have to say is if someone cheats on me, rapes me, and lies to me for over a year, they are a dick. I don’t even mind the draining her because he is afterall a vampire but the other transgressions I cannot forgive. Besides he never helped her out finacially even thoguh she is always complaining and worring about money, some boyfriend he was.

    • Lividity says:

Book club is down the hall to the right.

This thread is about season 4 of True Blood. It’s on HBO. It’s a TV series.

      • fbforbill says:

Yes, exactly. I wish rthe Bookies would find another page somewhere else. The rabid pages probably do not want them either. I guess they lost the memo about this being a true blood page not a book page. If they want a page i suggeat they check and see is CH has a page somewhere.

    • fbforbill says:

You do not know what you are talking about do you even watch the same show i do. Bill did not rape anyone. Lorena wanted Bill. He was angry, frustated, felt trapped, and felt his life was over. If anyone raped anyone lorena did many times to Bill. By the way i did not see Bill go to Sookie for the first Nukie she went tro his house. I guess you do not remember that Bill walked into sunlight for her, took on a mainad for her, took on tons of ridicule for her, and eventually gave her a ring. To me this means he planned on taking care of her for the rest of her life. If you are going to blog try to be polite. No one on this page likes Bill to called a rapest. Again I reiiterate it is not rape if ti concentual.

  26. CitizenErased says:

It will be no surprise to anyone that I detest book 4, but I detest book 3 equally and it turned out alright on screen. I’m sure next season will have more to offer than Eric sitting around Sook’s lounge in his undies watching Buffy DVDs, a silly witch/were plot and Bill conveniently off climbing Macchu Picchu. AB knows the limits of the source material.

  27. Chels says:

In the books he raped Sookie. I know this is about season four and the show. My only point is that the show is based on the books. It is impossible for me to forget the Bill that CH created, the TRUE Bill. He never gave her a ring AB just did that to keep people talking inbetween seasons. I love the show, I even like Bill in the show (I don’t in the books) I want Bill to be a vampire though and not try to be someone he isn’t. He isn’t all romantic he is just doing that because he thinks it is what Sookie wants. He needs to talk to her more, I mean their relationship needs work.

  28. Tay says:

So I’m a huge E/S fan not going to lie. Was an E/S fan from season 2, BEFORE I read the books.

And I have to say, I’m not pissed that Eric and Sookie aren’t together YET. I am pissed that Sookie and Bill are still together.

I think it’d be great if her and Bill would officially break up and she tries being single. Then we’d be likely to atleast get a solid E/S kiss. Fuck, I don’t even care if they want to bring Quinn in now and make her date HIM before and E/S, but just… break up with Bill already!

Sorry Bill fans, not trying to be a hater :( <33333333

  29. shelly says:

well i started off watching tb and afer falling in love with it read the books and i would like to think i can see both sides
i would like to state i am an eric lover i know hate me all u want
and i think the reason the bookies get so upset is to us the books are about a love between E/S that is beautiful that we fell in the with and without this it not the ture blood story
also i do like a lot of things ab has done and think sm portarys bill in a way that makes him like able even to me
i think the only way eric fans will get the outcome we want is if it is sookie that get amnesia and eric takes her in and then she falls for him
    well here hoping anyway

    • TaBa says:

I agree, I think AB is to invovled in the real relationship of SM and AP. To give us the eric and scookie relationship. All i want is the shower part. On another note does anyone think that Yvette will turn out to be Hallow and Jesus to be her bother. Just a thought.

  30. Karmousa says:

I have to say I was a trubie before I became a bookie. I loved bill and hated erics meddling between them but once I read the books I completely understood the progression of Eric as a character and his depth and the slow fun banter and friendship development between them. I even still love book bill he redeems his mistakes with sookie well further down the line and u can’t help but love him aswell. Ch made Eric fascinating he has the joie de vivre and patience of Rhett Butler the simple mindedness and ruthlessness of Heathcliff and the pride and arrogance of Darcy from pride and prejudice. He becomes the romantic anti hero if u will and it’s sexy as hell. So just want to let all the trubies now why we love Eric. As far as the show Im trying to view them as separate mediums but it’s hard sometimes I love the plot changes but sometimes u can’t help but get defensive about character changes which is why bookies get upset since most of erics deeds are given to bill. Maybe has a reason for all this and maybe it translates better in screen Show bill is extremely lovable and Sm play him soo well so I def get the huge bill love too.

    • Eric's secret lover says:

I didnt read many comments on here before I posted my comment, but I just read Charlie girl’s comment at the begining of the thread and I am at a loss for words, soooo perfect. Sorry if I offended Lividity, I see you are a regular on here, I’ll keep it PG from now on, however you are wrong on 2 fronts :: #One BILL “S got to go Number 2 I don’t know Super fan of the sheriff,I just agree w/him or her. God bless and Go Team ERIC!

      • Lividity says:

Oh hey cutie, you didn’t offend me. You’ve done a rather good job at entertaining me though.

One more thing. I’m one of the webmasters. Bye.

  31. Karmousa says:

Sorry my last bit was meant to say maybe AB has his reasons for his changes that we will get as the show progresss and maybe it just translates better on the screen for a more dramatic effect to outline B and E differences. Whatever they are I can’t wait to see how it happens.

  32. flexy633 says:

Ho hum, the arguments over Eric and Bill still continue, I see. I’ll never understand it. Guess it’s because I just don’t see what is so “hot” about Eric (Alex). He’s okay looking, but not drop dead gorgeous.

  33. rosalind thomas says:

i disagree Eric is so HOT!!! i read those series of books 5 times so don’t burst my bubble.

  34. mary says:

I noticed FBFORBILL hasn’t responded since Chels set the record straight – in the books Bill raped Sookie, drained her, and almost killed her. She never forgave him for that, or felt the same about him. I know the books and the show are different – but can you imagine if Twilight ended with Bella and Jake a couple instead of Bella and Edward? It would NEVER fly. And Jake is such a lovable character. So that’s why those of us who have read the books get so upset…Bill is a RAPIST, he’s anything but lovable, but Alan Ball thinks he and Sookie are “soulmates!”

    • adie says:

That’s the truth Mary, Even if Bill didn’t rape her in the series, it still frustrated me that they are making Sookie appear so…weak willed, if you will. The book Sookie would never have let the betrayal that happened just go unpunished like that. She’s much more cautious than that.

That being said, i am an Eric fan, and I think they do need to use the amnesia plot and have them get together to truely have the story play out for this season. I also don’t think they need to have Bill disappear to do so, or have it ruin any future potential Bill and Sookie have as couple! She needs to live a little! ;)

Either way I am super excited to see how AB makes the story evolve. I can never be really dissapointed, it’s all so damn entertaining!!

  35. Eric's secret lover says:

Thank you Mary! Bill is a true TURD! he can’t protecet her and GOOD GOD who in their right mind would CHOOSE to wake up next to him with Eric’s fine ass as an alternative?!? Alan Ball is a damn fool if he doesn’t finish Sookie and Bill soon and get to the action between Sookie and Eric. As for the blind douche who had the nerve to say they have no chemistry,YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! Hello!!! Anyone recall the dream sequence after fellowship of the sun bombing? My Husband knows when I have been watching that episode on HBO On Demand, if ya catch my drift! Bill damn near killed her to save his own rear end after she rescued him from Lorena, while Eric gave up his life and went to meet the true death to save her, Bill is a monster and He’s GOT TO GO! If Sookie doesn’t end up with Eric I call for a True Blood Boycott! They are fated for one another, it is their destiny to be togther GO TEAM ERIC!!! DIE Bill Die!!

    • Lividity says:

Now see this kids? This I an example of the kind of comment that has no place on this website. Not only does it reflect badly on the poster, it reflects poorly on Team Eric. Comment Fail.

  36. Superfanofthesheriff says:

I love the comment , a little profain but soooo true. Not only does it NOT reflect badly on either the poster or Team Eric, it says exactly what WE ALL think, Comment Fail to YOU Lividity!

    • Lividity says:

And you know this because you are acquainted with every Eric fan in the universe? Really people, some of you are your own worst enemy and you cannot even see it.

Isn’t that right Eric’s Secret Lover, ahm… I mean Superfanofthesheriff? I swear, sometimes it’s hard to tell you two apart. Oh wait, I can’t, that’s because… well, you know why ;)

  37. Truebie4life says:

Just wondering? Is this a discussion forum or a peeing contest? Come on guys, let’s not let fake tv characters make teenagers out of us. My vote is for Team Eric but there’s no reason to call AB a fool. Hopefully things come out the way they should (with Sookie and Eric together) but let’s not get ugly. All I know is I can’t wait for season 4!

    • Lividity says:

It seems like it’s a multiple personality contest Eric’s Secret Lover, Superfanofthesheriff, and Truebie4Life!

      Guess what? You’re the winner!

  38. Lividity says:

You are using multiple IDs with the same IP – this is against TOS. One more time and you’re gone. Sorry, you were fun.

Also, I know you’re really not Flexy.

  39. shelly says:

i would like eric and sookie to get together.but none to quick.i mean she could find him on the road to her house lost in season 4 cuse of amnesia cuse the new charecter cast a spell on him.then she can get to know the eric he can be when he puts away his all about me brave face rying not to care ways.i think it be nice for sookie to get with someone else for a short while.not bill again i dont like bill anyhow.i do hope jasons girlfriend somehow gets back in town away from that looser shes bertroved to.in the books she eventualy is killed and hung in merlotes bar on a cross i think.she was pregnant with jasons baby to.i do also hope jason finaly becomes a panther like in the books.but does anyone else wonder why when sookie has been drunk so much from shes gonna die and they give her blood she dont turn into a vampire?i mean isnt that how its supposed to work?you drink till there about dead then give them your blood and boom there a vampire?i mean i got that idea also from the jessica thing.also i do hope hoyts mom doesnt kill hoyt or jessica.she might though cuse shes crazy.i mean you saw her in the gunshop after all in the end of season 3.it be nice to see jessica and hoyt liveing together and such.maybe jessica will turn him.if the mother does shoot at them hopefuly shell have bad aim and only hurt one of them not kill them.then shell be arrested for atempted murder.it serve her right to.also i hope sam doesnt kill his brother or actualy shoot him i hope he just shoots next to him and it gets his brother to come back.hopefuly sam will be nicer to him and help him out more.anyway i still think sookie and eric should start up like in the books just not way to soon.i think she should play the field a bit.

  40. Livia says:

In a perfect world Alan Ball would have a sit down with Charlaine Harris and consult with her for the storyline for season 4 because to be perfectly honest season 3 (and some storylines of season 2) was a bit of a mess.
He made the Were’s out to be ridiculous white-trash biker stereotypes, he absolutely RUINED Queen Sophie Anne – for those who haven’t read the novels, you should know her character is very interesting, calculating and full of depth unlike the spoiled whiney version given to Evan Rachel Wood (she could have pulled off the real Sophie Anne no problem – and it would have been a treat to see it).
He also ruined Hot Shot and all the related characters – meth lab? are you kidding me? why does EVERYTHING have to be about drugs? I enjoyed season 1 immensely – I liked what Mr. Ball added with the V drug storylines, but then making Eric and the Queen secret V suppliers? completely unnecessary and completely changing character traits for both.
But what bugs me most of all is while the character development for the periphery characters from the books have been fantastic – ie. Jason, Hoyt, Lafayette, Talbot and the addition of the fabulous Jessica – the main characters from the books – Sookie, Eric and Bill have been tweaked around in ways that lessen their development or at least their development within the grand storyline.
Bill is made out to be this fantastic boyfriend who will do anything to save Miss. Stackhouse, he’s sensitive and caring and kinda makes me sick- while Bill from the books interests me more because he dosen’t begin that way, at first he’s a little detached, calm cool and collected, and he’s more wary of giving up his secrets, vampire secrets and defying the vampire hierarchy to/for Sookie. He can be insensitive and unhuman at times – he and sookie don’t have the perfect relationship – which is much more interesting and let’s face it, believable considering the huge secret he’s been keeping from Sookie since day 1.
Eric – well I can understand why people who just watch the show don’t get why Sookie and Eric would make sense together. Eric on the show has been very unpredictable in his actions toward Sookie, also in the way he sheriff’s area 5. Supplying V, trying to have Bill kidnapped and actually forcing Sookie to do things for him. Whereas Eric of the novels, his personality slowly opens up to you over time – BUT he still shows a certain set of morals that he lives by. Like actually being the one who stakes Longshadow when he’s attempting to kill Sookie (NOT Bill), sending her out to Dallas for a mission, but keeping an eye on her while in disguise to ensure her safety, and asking her, opening up to her to get her to go to Jackson to find Bill (who incidentally lies to and leaves Sookie to be with Lorena) and again going to keep an eye on her for her safety. In the books you feel a real conflict and confusion in Eric for how he’s supposed to follow the rules and how he feels about Sookie. There’s none of this locking her away, using her at risk to her life bullshit.
Sookie – good lord, they make her out to be an idiot in the show. She’s so sassy and smart in the books, much more self aware and conflicted. And this whole fae thing – yeah, it’s in the books, but has nothing to do with her telepathy and definitely doesn’t result in her shooting energy out of her hands. All it does is explain why vampires and other supes are more inclined to notice her than other humans. She has a blood type, none of this ridiculous ‘she was born on the kitchen table and has never been to a hospital’ nonsense. Umm, after what Rene did to her she should’ve been to a hospital. She has more of a fondness for Eric as they share a similar sense of humor – which they also don’t portray in the show – which also endears her to Pam as well.

I know I just went on the rant of the century and anyone who reads this is gonna be like – ‘if you have so many problems with it, just stop watching the show!’ But I can’t cause I keep hoping it will return the calibur of the first season – which was amazing, it made sense, it flowed nicely in each episode as well as an entire season. And also – I keep hoping season 4 will involve the Eric/Sookie/Witches storyline from the book – but alas, seeing as Bill doesn’t make a whole lot of appearances in book 4 (and the reasons for his departure can’t be the same since they didn’t include it in season 3) it seems as though I may disappointed. Also I love some of the actors way too much to stop watching them – Eric, Pam, Sam, Lafayette, Jessica, Hoyt, Jason, Arlene & Terry, and Bill… you’ll notice I left out Sookie (I’ll like her again when she stops saying ‘bitch’ the way she does and learns how to kiss properly – her and Eric in episode 11 ? he seemed to be doing a fine job, she barely had her mouth open, wheres the passion?)

  41. lovinghoyt&jessica says:

truth be spoken. i fell in love with deborah’s and hoyt’s character so much to a point that i dont care anymore (at least not as intensely) about sookie and bill. i love eric just as he is. i love to see him with pam? please!!! :)

i am quite scared if they will part deb and hoyt. i hope not. they’re perfect together. and i wish them to be always happy. besides, isn’t in every series, there is a couple who always has a stable relationship? let them be that one couple for this series. and let sookie and bill and eric play around. that’s what most viewers want, so let’s give them that.. as for me, i dont care much.

  42. sookie says:

If you read any of the books than you know eric is the only one for her, bill is a whiney whimp and she really neecs someone who will understand and protect her ERIC

  43. sookie says:

if you read the books than you know Eric is the one who whatches out for her and Bill is just whiney i really Love Eric and I think he should be given a chance in the show just like in the books.

  44. sookie says:

    TEAM ERIC ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  45. sookie says:

ERICS SECRET LOVER IS SO COOOOL

  46. Bookie says:

Hello, I’m new to the board. I had never even heard of Sookie Stackhouse before True Blood. As a show watcher, I am a Bill fan. I want Bill & Sookie because of how they love each other. The fact that the man walked out into the sun for her and was willing to sacrifice anything for her makes this a true love story. The fact that he lied to her about his original mission to Bon Temps is what makes their story so tragic. But the course of true love never runs smooth, and that is what makes this relationship so interesting…to see if there is enough forgiveness and love between the two of them. I like Eric, but not with Sookie. He needs to be with a stronger woman, whom he cannot manipulate or use. Sookie brings out his sensitivity, but not his strength. Eric needs someone with brass balls, who can play just as dirty as he can.

All of these players need someone new to intermingle with, especially Bill – while he and Sookie are apart. While Eric and Sookie are luvin’ it up, I would like for Bill to find some adventures of his own and a new girlfriend of his own. I would like to see Bill make Sookie really jealous with someone just as magical and beautiful and brave as Sookie…not the woman that he gets with in the book, but someone else.

  47. megan says:

I heard she gets with erick n i hope so hes hot

  48. D. Reilly says:

Season 4: Sookie will NOT be with ERIC … They will never BE ‘lovers’ …Alan Ball… has made ..ERIC ..out to be a ‘player’ and not a person with knowledge of ‘feelings’ (so ‘unlike’ Bill) He did not give him the same past as Harris did in her novels…where he was married , and had children etc. True Blood is different: ERIC is a “sailor’..warrior..viking…( he was a ‘viking’ in novel; but family man, vikings DO ‘marry’ haha! )… anyway.. NO Eric and Sookie..in season 4.. Look for WITCHES…BRUS..JESUS, LaFFY, etc, ..the FAE..and many more’characters’ with …’powers’..casting ”’spells…BILL will be BACK, of course…he is NEVER gone…BUT NO BIG LOVE SCENES with Eric and Sookie !! This is True Blood !! not Dead To The World !! … Just based on the list of ‘characters’…you KNOW there is NO TIME for INTIMACY between Eric/Sookie.. There will be LOTS of ..SUPERNATURAL ‘happenings’..Those of us, “BOOKIES” and (Eric/Sookie fans).. we will have to just realize this IS a different venue.Book 4 is so Dynamic (romantic)..we’re absolutely bound to be disappointed with any ‘changes’..and ..’omissions’!! Alexander Scarsgard IS so oo ‘handsome’ and great as ‘Eric’…his ‘fans’ ..ARE ..waiting..40 weeks with baited breath…IT WOULD BE NICE: MR. BALL…to ‘follow some of book 4…AT LEAST ONE LOVE SCENE !!(ERIC/SOOKIE)..the best one since the series began was the ‘dream sequence’ in “I Will Rise UP”… ( wow ..that was ‘sexy. !!)

  49. Tasha says:

I’m sorry but ERIC FTW !! I LOVE Eric so much, he may betray Sookie a few times in locking her up to give to Russel, but we all know he has feelings for her but wont show them or admit them. When Bill and Sookie are together all i think is “Sookie should have more common-sense than to sleep with him after everything bill has done to her.” I’m just waiting for Sookie and Eric to finally get together. I mean c’mon Bill is WAY to over possesive, he killed Sookie’s great uncle, he tryed to kill Eric and Pam just for knowing what Sookie was or have tasted her, which was Sookie’s decision! How could she live knowing that if anyone finds out about her they’ll die? Plus Bill makes all her decissions for her which is just annoying and he is not attractive at all. I LOVED book 4, Dead To The World, one of my fave’s ever! I was so happy when Eric and Sookie got together with no interuptions from Bill. He does love her deep down and he does try to help her and i think in a better way than Bill does. I think Bill trys to lure Sookie away from Eric so he can have her all to himself…which is basically what i does do. I was dissapointed to how they havn’t kept to the storyline of the books, because especially in Book 2 and 3 the things that happan are so much better than the episodes are. For example, in the books they went to the Fellowship to rescue Farrell not Godric, and he is called Godfrey, not being Eric’s maker. Also i found it good how Sookie and Eric go to the orgy party together, i’de love to see them dress Alex Skarsgard up looking ultra gay, but they compltly changed that part and didn’t put it in at all, instead bringing in Mary-Anne thing, and completly changing her name in the show because her proper name should be Calisto, and putting Sam in danger which doesn’t happan at all in the books. That disapointed me a lot. And in Book 3/Series 3 i was looking forward to the Club Dead part and Sookie getting Staked, instead they turned it into a Werewolf only Bar and changed it completly. I was also waitinh for Sookie and Eric to get intimate together like they do for a bit at Russel’s Palace in the book, also that they didn’t have Eric protecting Sookie on a car journey back to Bon Temps. They make is that Sookie really dislikes Eric but in the books she starts to feel something for him and he likes her much more than in the shows. They have made Bill worse in the shows than he is in the books aswell. If they change the storyline in Series 4 and cut out all of Eric and Sookie all loved-up together i’m going to be REALLY annoyed. I love the Eric when he lost his memory, he was so sweet and just prooved he loved Sookie and that she loved him. How it describes the sex scenes between them would be so cute if they do the same in the shows. I really wish all series’s would follow the stroylines better, i think only series 1 followd the first book better than the others have.
So, yeah, go away Bill and bring on Eric!! He is so sexy!! I must admit i was pure Bill fan during Season 1 but as soon as Eric cut his hair and Bill became more annoying and possesive, i totally turned to Team Eric! I’de love to meet Alexander Scarsgard!!
