Kristin from E-Online has big spoilers for us, regarding season three of True Blood. So, BE AWARE ***BIG SPOILERS*** coming right to you!
Vampires: Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) fiancé-to-be Bill was kidnapped in the season-two finale, and when we pick up season three, we’ll find him in the company of a courtly vampire named Talbot (as well as a quaint old Southern lady named Olivia). Talbot, by the way, is dating the vampire king of Mississippi. Ruh-roh! Other new vampires will include a looker named Franklin Mott, who takes a liking to Tara (Rutina Wesley).
Werewolves? If Alcide Herveaux, the werewolf introduced in Charlaine Harris‘ Club Dead novel, is anywhere to be seen in the season-three premiere of True Blood, he’s hiding under an assumed name. We do, however, have a possible dog we can offer you. And no, not the misbehaving Lothario kind of dog, the shape-shifting-into-a-sweet-mutt kind of dog. In the season-three premiere, titled “A Pack of Wolves,” True Blood goes to Arkansas to find Sam Merlotte’s (Sam Trammell) long-lost little brother, Tommy Mickens, and we’re probably going to see Tommy’s naked rear end, since the casting call notes that butt nudity is required for the role. We smell a sibling shape-shifter!
Zombies? Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) is going to canoodle with a couple of coeds who appear to have bullet holes in their heads. Are they the living dead, or is Jason cuh-razy? Tune in to find out.
Strippers: For those of you invested in Alexander Skarsgård’s Eric (and/or in Eric’s relationship with Sookie), you should know there’s a new girl in the Viking vamp’s life. Eric’s latest lovah is not going to be the telepathic Merlotte’s waitress but instead someone named Yvette, a Czech-born stripper at Fangtasia. Man, nobody’s going to like her one bit. Sorry, Yvette!
Rednecks: There’s a new gang of crazy white-trash bikers in town who like to assault vampires to feed their V addiction, and when they get their hands on a “vamper” we know and love, they start ripping him apart for the high. To which we can only say: True Blood, step away from the motorcycle clubs—you don’t see them putting vampires on Sons of Anarchy, do you?

That kinda pisses me off…No Alcide? No Eric and Sookie, but Eric is screwing around with someone else? I know the show is not going to be identical to the books, but aren’t they getting a little off track? Who the hell are Olivia and Yvette?!
I purposely think they leave a bunch of stuff off these casting calls and spoilers on purpose. No one said there is no Alcide. You might be surprised a few months down the line that he had been already cast.
Yvetta is apparently a pole dancing Eric groupie and Olivia is an old woman who wants to mother Bill. Or maybe vice versa, I really have no clue ;)
Guess we just wait and see.
This is just a rehash of the casting call shit we posted earlier with a bit of sensationalist spin. I think the pole dancing Eric groupie will be teh awesomezzzz…really, who cares who he gets naked with as long as he’s naked ladies?
You’re right CE, they’re just speculating with the previous casting call junk. Personally, I’m all for more nekkid on TB. Season 2 was just a little too buttoned up if you ask me. Bring on the pole dancing biker dudes…um, ladies.
There Was Nudity in S2 Perhaps Not as much as previously but there still Was a lot of it! Maryann’s bizarre pagan ritual with all those naked people involved in an orgy! Plus Sam was nude a Lot!
Perhaps Jason wasnt nude technically but that scene in the bathtub with him and Sarah “handling” his kit was Very suggestive if not lewd! and By the Way, Sookie Eric and Sam did a lot of onscreen Nude time!!
Both ERIC and SOOKIE were Completely Naked in her “sex dream of Eric” sequence…Didnt YOU See That!

Kristen has taken casting call and mixed it with her own guesses and I think some book stuff too.
If season three keeps going away from the general plot of the books. I will not be watching anymore. I accept changing some things for the series, but they should follow the general direction of Charlaine Harris’ books. Would Stephen King allow his series to betray the idea of his books that they were biased off of. (IE: The Dead Zone) I mean Zombies!!? WTF?! There are no zombies in the southern Vampire mysteries
Not sure about what Stephen King does, but CH I believe, has sold the rights to HBO/AB. Not really a legal person anymore, but I think that gives them license to do whatever they want (based on agreed upon terms).
Probably the better question is…why would CH give up all her rights?
Because she trusts them to do a good job and doesn’t give a toss about the changes? Also, for the lovely money. I think she knows exactly what she’s doing and sees the show for what it is- an alternative take on the world she created. A better take IMO.

Isn’t Bill supposed to be with Lorena, who is the most likely suspect for kidnapping him? What’s he doing with Talbot? I haven’t read the books… Is he with Lorena alone? Me thinks me smells another AB shakeup. Exciting.
All sounds good to me! Poor Bill – he is to be tortured! Eric – so much for wanting Sookie! Pole Dancer, eh?? I still think something will make Bill lose his memory. Lorena? Another Red Herring? Bring on season 3!! I want to see the promotional photos which should be coming out Dec/Jan? More speculation!
