We’ll get alot more backstory seeing both his parents in flashbacks.
As for Eric/Sookie they continue to have the same sexual tension as
season 2 but they won’t be a true couple anytime soon. Eric will also
have other love interests this season.
Also a casting call filled:
Grainger Hines has been cast as [COLONEL JOHN FLOOD] In his 50s to 60s.. self-assured, dressed like a golfer with a military haircut, he is a Wolf Pack Leader. He doesn’t respond the way Sookie and Alcide expect to recent events. GUEST STAR.
This looks like the season all the Teamiacs get mad at Sookie — and AB.
Team Bill will lose their lunch because she tramps it up (at least around the edges) with Alcide. Team Eric is already on the edge of insanity because the Sookie/Bill love duo is contrary to their Cult of the Book. I suspect they will want to burn AB in effigy after this season.
I can hardly wait for the season — and fan fireworks — to begin!
I agree with you. I think (at the beginning of the season at least) that no team will be satisfied. But that’s right Alan Ball’s magic, he always manages to surprise us. But well we have the end of the season.

LOL, great comment ccoppe. I kind of want to see Eric doing fun Eric stuff without being a sneaky, underhanded, girlfriend stealing pain in the ass, so this news pleases me. I think his character deserves better.
It pleases me too, I am thinking there may still be a chance for Bill and Sookie after all, at least in the series.

I do belive that no team will be happy. As much as I hate to see the demise of bill and sookie’s romatic relationship, it whould be good in terms of the show and the story line. it is such a huge point in the books, and I do whant to see quinn. Team eric will be a bit ticked that they do not get together like in book 4, but even in that book they are not a true couple as erioc has amnesia so how is that a real couple. I do see a huge team alcide forming. In season 3 it will be a love 4 way with bill\eric\alcide\sam. It looks like a good season can not weight. I will have to prepare myself for the end of bil and sookie’s realtionship and his being help captive.
I am hoping for at least 6 seasons or possably 7 seasons to get in all of the story lines. I whould also like to see and intervew with anna and steven about the 3rd season, but naybee they are not allowed to talk given the major plot points that will be reveled this season.
after reading the third and fourth books i have to say that i am team eric all the way, but i do feel sorry for bill and i also feel that when eric and sookie do become a couple that he will not be to happy about it and will disappear for awhile since it seems he has really gotten good at that anyways…. ughhh im so ready for 3 to be out!!! :(
Hey Sandra, AB won’t be marginalizing Bill no matter what happens between Bill and Sookie and honestly were Eric and Sookie ever a real couple? There were booty calls in 4 and then nothing until the most recent of books…..and as for TB Eric being part of a couple it just seems wrong. What kind of bad boy fun would we get out of him then?

Like the books, Bill and Sookie have their break ups and get togethers, it’s called keeping it interesting imo.
