I get so excited when they are nominated. I hope they get a win this time.

  2. tigereyes says:

Wow, it would be nice if Anna and Stephen both won, along with the other nominees of True Blood.

  3. Lizzie says:

At least Mad Men can’t be nominated in this Award! I believe TB will win in all categories – let’s have faith!

  4. Gracounette says:

I hope that they are going all to win, especially for True Blood, Stephen and Anna. We are with you.

Steve is up against Michael C. Hall from Dexter and I hate to say it but I’m gonna….the pity vote could win it for Hall even though he is a good actor…….and Alex is up against two from Lost and it is their last season, sooo……

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed.

You took the words out of my mouth Aem!!!

Evethough Michael C. Hall does not need the pity vote cause he does an outstanding job as Dexter, however he’s always done a great job in that show, but NOW they recognize it… he deserved it since the show (Dexter) started and now that I can’t root for him they decided to reward his talent… Well, I’m sorry Michael, but I’m rotting for my boy!!!

Please, please… let them win, this award season has been kind of humiliating!!!

True…sadly Dexter is really good and they had such a good story line with John Lithgow and everything else. But I will cross everything I have for True Blood!!

    • mybabybill says:

its all good Aem. Cranston and Hall have proven themselves as award-winning ‘meat and potatos’ actors. if you hand them the shows storyline, they can bring it home. its good for stephen to be in among them. he belongs here.

    will this be on TV?

    • Aemac says:

I have no idea. I couldn’t find an answer to that one, maybe as we get closer to the presentation date. It seems odd to me, but I get the idea from reading on their site that anyone can become a member for the right price which gives them the privilege of voting.

While I thought the Maryann story line went on entirely too long, MF did an amazing job with the role. If it had been dependent on a less talented actor, it would’ve been really painful. I’m glad someone finally gave her a nod. Even if she doesn’t win, she is more than deserving of the nomination.

  9. Lividity says:

Well, I certainly hope they win some of these. I have to agree that Michelle Forbes really did an outstanding job.

  10. AdeleH says:

Although it’s a good show and Kyra Sedgewick is a terrific actress, I don’t see on “The Closer” fits in the science fiction, fantasy or horror categories. Am I missing something?
