My favorite so far, mostly because of Lafayette. I love these fill-in-the-blanks minisodes and this one filled a blank, nicely.
What blank? They didn’t figure out where Bill get’s his money…just that he has money.
There’s more to that minisode than Bill’s money.
Well Liv, unless you live in the US, you can’ t access it. I have even tried YouTube, and was re-directed to FindSeries and I have no idea how to find it there! So, I guess it is bad luck for me and others of non US citizenship, boo hoo!
I think the ones that include adult language are not being released to YouTube. Just my .02, YMMV. Still, the last one was up there for a little while …

We always figured Bill got his money through investments.

If AB brings that in, well….what a huge disappointment. That whole story line was ridiculous in the books.
Liv explained it to me. The man can’t even send a text message on a phone so how could be be some big-time computer nerd? Besides, it’s boring. I’m not surprised, though, that it’s the best CH could come up with-she has a rather limited imagination in many areas.
I always thought he made money from his murderous tendencies, but I still love him. Beeehl. Sigh.

This can be seen in Australia – but it cuts short by about 40 secs!! So it’s more than the 16sec teaser…. but still not the FULL minisode

The thing that struck me was how Sookie cut Tara off when asked about the money. Instead of even considering that question, Sook launched a counter-attack about ‘vamp racism’ and starting swearing and getting nasty.
C”mon, Sookie probably knows how every other person in Bon Temps makes a living, but the guy she’s sleeping with, she can only guess or assume? It’s just weird she never asked and he never said.
And Tara is just screwed. She might as well just lay down right now and get bitten. That was foreshadowing with a sldgehammer.
Hahahaha, I’d forgotten how much I can like Sookie on a good day. Tara is obnoxious about vampires for no particular good reason, as she hasn’t met any nasty ones yet (but will). Great dialogue, makes me hopeful for S3. But please, no Bill as IT geek. He doesn’t like cellphones, so how can he be a techie? I’d rather he ripped dudes off :P
Maybe Bill “glamors” certain rich folks into giving him their money then forgetting all about it?

First of all good on you Sookie for defending your man!!!
Bill just saved Sam ( and was practically drained in the process) as well as saved the entire town with Sam the night before.
With only 41 minutes till dawn (oh thats right he was holding you for forty), he finds a way to send you an expensive dress and arranges to take you out to dinner, and propose with a kickass huge diamond ring. Lets not forget, he can dance like Fred Astaire…….
Dam that man is a keeper, and sexy as H*LL.
Considering all, I find Taras reaction way off considering what Bill did for her (he helped release MA’s spell on her, Oh but thats right, she went right back for more…**slaps forehead**).
I think that Tara might be a wee bet jealous of Sookie at this point, because Eggs is borderline nervous breakdown, whereas Bill is all loyal, dedicated, generous, loving, selfsacrificing man!
Also I saw foreshadowing, Tara so all h*llfire bent out of shape where vamp realationships are concerned, yet next season we now that she will hook up with one.
As to Bills money, well he is a vamp and around for a long time, DUH. But perhaps his past with Lorena will come back to haunt him. That would be sad for him, and again the result of his association with his evil maker.
Oh, and so glad that our resident, sashaying, hot, short order cook has got his MOJO back.

Lafayette was hilarious as usual!
I don’t look for racism in stuff deliberately, I swear I don’t. But it killed me the two strongest black characters last season were mired in PTSD and catatonic states. I’m SURE it was for a greater purpose, but it still grated. Can’t wait to get Tara’s sass cranked back up and of course, Laffayette’s pizzazz!
I enjoyed them both in this clip very much. Reminded me of S1 Tara and Laffy. I missed them. :)

i dont think tara is jealous @ all, i like how straight up she is. She is just asking a question that we are all curious about. Be it, she could do it in a different manner. But sookie knows how 2 handle tara.

This was a wonderful clip, I loved every second. This is why you don’t want to have a 55 minute show with a cast of 30+. There’s no time for good conversations and fun.

Funny all the speculation about where Bill gets his money when he’s been around for 175 years!! LOL!! Will we see that same question asked of ALL the vampires on the show or just Bill? It’s likely that none of them started out rich so they had to accumulate their wealth over whatever time they’ve been vampires. They have all been killers, so Bill doesn’t have that market cornered either. I think whatever it is, it will be interesting to find out…since Bill is the most interesting character on the show! He’s anything BUT “boring” to his fans!
WoW I just read all of your comments and alot of you are in denial Bill is not a saint as all of you act like I am a fan of all the cast Yes Bill also but let’s face it he is going to ruin his relationship on he’s own AB is not going to change that fact. Bill not Eric is going to mess things up himself with Sookie.

We got a little glimpse into Bills background, but we hardly ‘know’ Bill. Eric has a 1,ooo year history of ‘goodies’ in his background bag.!! However Alan Ball decides to develop their characters should make for very interesting story lines and lots of drama !! not to mention comedy: Scarsgard is really funny. Nelson Ellis, ( and I could just mention the entire cast !) THIS HAS TO BE AN AWARD WINNING SEASON … ALL THE WAY .. TRUE BLOOD !! ..
