True Blood house true blood merchandise The beautiful old Queen Anne house in the opening credits of True Blood is up for sale. If you’re into collecting True Blood memorabilia here’s your chance for a big piece of it. Of course, you’ll have to go to Northern Louisiana to get it and it won’t be so easy to take home, but I think it’s a hell of deal. The house is 7,300 sq. ft. and so far the highest offer has been $88,000. You can’t buy a shack for that in Jersey or California. If you’re interested in more info on the house and its interesting history, go to the source. Just remember, if you buy it don’t forget to have all the actors sign it.

What the fuck, that house is way cheaper than my house! Even with the shit exchange rate. Does no one want to live in LA or something? I would, if there was really a Big Patty’s Pie House. And Bill.

I know CE, it’s way too cheap. I was thinking about digging into my piggy bank for the purchase price but upon a closer look it seems to need a lot of work. Quite a few windows seem to have missing glass. Has it been abandoned? Plumbing, electric? Alas, my piggy is not bottomless. I do love that 3′rd floor balcony!

Maybe we should all chip in and make it our clubhouse.

LOL I was thinking the same thing. How about using it as a place for homeless fangirls?

My sister was stationed at Barksdale when my niece was born nearly 17 years ago, so I’ve visited Shreveport a few times. I’d never live there. Good fried pickles, though.

Fried pickles? Seriously? I always wanted a house with a turret. Alas, I am poor and far, far away.

Anyone seriously looking into this should take a look at it from google maps and use the street level feature. The whole back additon of the house appears to be falling apart and there is a giant pile of who knows what in amongst the grass. It also doesn’t look like the friendliest neighborhood if you go around the block IMO (again using the google street level feature).

For $88,000 I was serisouly thinking of relocating, but like Aemac said, upon further inspection, it need a lot of work. Obviously in realtor talk ‘needs some TLC’ translate to needs a heck of a lot of work. LOL

Oh well, it was nice to dream there for a few minutes before reality set in. ;)

Does anyone know how many acres is this house on??

There really is a ‘Big Patti’s Pie House’ except its called Lea’s Lunchroom.
Its a little ways off I-49 in Lecompte, LA near Alexandria.
The most delicious pies and Community coffee.

That house is way cheaper than my house too! I think it would take a dedicated group of investors to do that place justice. Is it being “bid” on???

  7. Cranky says:

But…I have to say…that house is seriously out of wack. Just from looking at the pic…something “off kilter” there.
