This spoiler is so tiny you might not even be able to see it…
OK, I’m not kidding – this first part is Sam Trammell talking about nothing… but check out part 2 of this supposed spoiler:

Read only if you really want to know: “We’ve been [shooting] for about two weeks. We’ve gotten two scripts and it’s really cool. I’m really psyched about it. My character gets to do some very cool things. And it’s different—some things have happened that have changed things, so I think the viewers will be excited. Alan [Ball] likes to keep everybody on their toes. It’s always fun just getting the scripts and reading them, it’s like…I was going to say crack cocaine but I’ve never had it!” Got all that? This season will be “cool” and “different” and “things have changed” and Sam is not a crackhead in real life. You’ll still watch True Blood even though you know the entire season now, won’t you?
- Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) mansion has been a shambles ever since Maryann used it as the center of her freaky Dionysian cult (remember the meat sculpture?), but insiders tell me they’re finally repainting the house and repairing all the damage from the keggers held at Maryanne’s behest. Mmmm…sounds like Sookie might be settling back into domestic bliss? Hey, Martha Stewart, how about a guest spot?
So, do y’all think that a certain someone who is trying to get close to Ms. Stackhouse might have fixed her whole house and not just her driveway?
I hope your wrong Liv. The idea of Eric fixing up Sookie’s house rubs me as wrong. It seems like it would be nothing but trying to gain favour into her good graces, for bad reasons.
I hope not either. I like the new Eric in book 4 but I do not like the Eric in the tv show. She belongs with Bill. Ala did say it was a love story between Sookie and Bill. I hope nothing has happened to Bill. If the got rid of him or something it would ruin TB for me.
Yes! I think it is about time that Eric is shone doing all the little things he does in the books so that she knows how deeply he cars for her.
Yes Lucy..al the little things he did for her int he books without asking for a thanks. He did them becouse she needed thme and no one else even her former lover tought about them :/

The comment she made in front of Eric about the driveway in Ep 2×03 had a purpose.

Ah yes, I could see them bringing in Alcide for this as well – home building construction dude makes total sense. I keep forgetting that it’s them this year that might have the fling and not Viking/Sookie.
Mi bet is that Sookie will “do” amnesiac Eric and contractor Alcide this season…. more Eric next season & some Quinn… then on last season Bill and Sookie will come back… but hell, who knows. This is True Blood ;)

The storyline is so far gone from the novels I’m not sure it will be Eric.
At this point in the show any of the mensfolk would appear to be trying to ‘win’ Sookie over if they made such a generous gesture (I’m certain fixing up that hella mess will be ‘spensive)
In the books Eric made a remark about the miserable condition of Sookie’s driveway and Sookie blasted back at him about how she couldn’t afford to fix it because she was losing money by missing shifts at Merlottes to work for him. The next day, new drive. It fit both in the storyline and in the way Eric was written.
In TB, Eric gave Sookie a generous bonus for her efforts in Dallas.
The driveway is normal wear and tear, the house was deliberately trashed and Eric was in no way responsible for it, no matter how you look at it. It’s a different scenario IMO and I’d be shocked if Eric paid for it.
If anything I’m hoping the contractors are sent by Tara. That fits on several levels for me.
Yeah, it really bugged me that Tara drove off to “find herself” and left Sookiie’s house a mess when it was really her fault that whole thign happened.
I never saw Eric fixing Sookie’s driveway as such a big deal, it wasn’t a gesture of love but of fairness. Sookie was upset that Eric was making her work for him , not to mention he wasn’t paying her andshe was missing work whcih was hurting her already fragile finances . Eric is a fair guy when it comes to people who work for him , he liked Sook at that point, and he’s loyal.
It’s a tough call on who will be responsible for the fixing, it could go many ways and I agree with Konfetti in that given how each of these guys are vying for her favor…it could be any of them…although if it were Bill…that would just tick Sookie off. The currying favor thing would be so obvious, but for Eric as well since she ordered him out of her life too cuz of all the bad stuff he’s done to her….being chained in the basement, being drained for his “plan” to destroy Russell, etc …
Alcide would be good vote too, since he would use it as a way to show he’s “better” than those d*mn vamps ….
Sookie does get money (or is owed money can’t remember if he actually pays her) from Eric so maybe her independent self is doing it alone…..with the help of Mr. Herveaux (at a discounted rate)!!
i hope they keep more to the book and sookie finds Eric on newyear as to here house i belive it will be eric or as a wild card bill trying to get into her heart again

I don’t think Sookie is going to want Bill around anytime soon. But, maybe while she is missing he fixes the house? mhhh it could be.
We’ll find in six months… sigh…
I really hope that Eric helps Sookie with her driveway or house – that was when I started to fall in love with Eric in the books. I know that Alan has a different plan for the show, but all I want is a sweet Eric in Season 4 – just one season – and I will give it a rest. I love him being a total badass, but when it comes to Sookie he has to show his softer side.
She belongs to noone but she should be erics bill is such an ugly jerk and the sooner she realises that the better eric loves her bill is using her havent you people read the books and you call yourselves real fans blah.
Hi there Prue. As a matter of fact yes, a lot of us have read the books. Some of us like Eric, some like Bill. We are all fans of the show – also we are real. But one thing we share is that we don’t have to put the other guy down because he’s not your favorite. I suggest you do the same. Thanks.

Have you seen those weird keys on your keyboard with strange symbols on them? like this “.” or even this “,” or perhaps you even find something like this “?”. It helps a lot to the people that try to understand what you’re trying to say. ;)

I thought she had a good point. Maybe ZZ could’ve said it a bit nicer but I’m sure she was a little ticked off as the content of the message was insulting to the people posting here. I’m a fan of punctuation marks. Not using them comes across as if you’re saying all your sentences without taking a breath in between, which in real life comes across as being a bit weird. I’m sure Prue didn’t do it on purpose and she’s probably just learning to use her computer or maybe she’s writing from a smart phone. I know my mom didn’t use punctuation marks when she started writing text messages on her phone, so I get it. But since this conversation is not in the private sphere I think it’s good to know how it comes across.
Thank you Mela. It was not about Bill or Eric, it was about good manners. By the content of her message and the offensive tune, you can think it’s not about smart phones… I don’t like insults. Yet less when they are not well punctuated ;) I like people who reason with respect.

Melissa, please don’t be upset like that. Even if a few moderators are pro bill they are all very open to discussion. This is in every way a true blood fan site and it really is meant to be welcoming to all fans. If you reread this thread you will see that there were a couple of other messages that favoured an eric or alcide storyline and everybody was totally fine with it. It’s only when somebody insults fans or starts character bashing that people get upset. The same message in a different wording has a place here. I Promise.
Melissa, this is a friendly community- if you don’t see the difference between good maners and fictional likes, it’s not my problem. You’ve already said that this is a Bill Pro Site more than a couple of times. This site is neutral in its posts. If you don’t like it, please, walk away. I’m sure there are other sites that will help you to fix your obsession more accordingly to your likes.
Okay, here’s something a bit different — what if some of the town folk got together to fix Sookie’s house? Maybe they started remembering things and feel guilty.
Another thought: If one of the vamps do the repairs, a hidey hole could be made, making things more convenient. Doesn’t make sense for a contractor or public group to make the hidey hole b/c then too many people would know.
Then again, it does make sense for Alcide to be contracted to do the repair.

It could be Sookie’s house in its fairyland incarnation. Perhaps she’s living in an alternate reality, a little slice of domestic perfection while she hides from the real world?
With Bill supposedly getting a new look and Sookie’s house getting fixed I’m hoping this means there will be a time jump to a few months later, after they tie up the loose ends from the end of season 3.
Thank good they are fixing up sookies house, It was about time. I kind of like the idea of eric cleaning her house and her driveway even though, bill is my favorite. Also I think they will bring the story line of book 9 into this season and have the wheres and shifters come out in the same fashion they did with the vampires. also I think hjason my move to hotshot. ;)
AB has said that Sookie will be spending a lot of time with Alcide this season, so I am going with him doing it. without Eric’s intervention. I don’t want to see any Eric/Sookie connection as in the books.

Here’s my thought: I don’t believe Bill does the work for Sookie, because he will be concentrating on his long lost relatives, the Bellefleurs, mainly Portia. This really ticks Sookie off in the books that Bill spends all that money on them and never does anything for her but Eric does (like fix her driveway, or put in a new door, or buy her a nice coat). Anyway, she is mad at Bill and doesn’t want him in her life at the moment. I think if she does spend time with Eric after she encounters him on the road with amnesia, it is because Pam requests her to do so and they are paying her a lot of money to do it. Maybe she uses her own money to pay for the repairs.
