Access Hollywood did interviews with Anna Paquin and Sam Trammel at Comic-Con last week and they’ll both put a smile on your face. No one sides steps a question as well as Anna does, we could all take lessons. And when it comes to Sam…..well, it seems no one wants his sperm, though if someone comes forward he admits he can be bought.

TV Guide Magazine will give TB fans a treat this Thursday, July 29th as they release two different covers. One will feature Anna Paquin and real-life fiance Stephen Moyer and the other will feature Anna with Alex Skarsgard.

“Bill is her first love,” Anna says of her character Sookie. “Regardless of how much trauma there’s been, they have a really intense connection. But she has rather active fantasies about Eric …”

Stephen Moyer spoke about the early days of his relationship with now-engaged Anna Paquin in the July issue of Playboy: “I wish we’d bought shares in Skype because we Skyped every night for three or four hours… I felt as though part of me had been removed when Anna and I were apart.”

“I’ve never been in a relationship before in which, literally within the first three days, all the cards were laid out,” Stephen said. “I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna… We trust each other so implicitly that there’s never anything hurtful; it always comes from a loving place,” he said. “It’s not as though people I’ve been with before haven’t been loving, but with Anna it’s just about pure trust – on camera and off.”

Anna at the Season 3 Premiere

Anna Paquin talks about her diet in the July issue of Self. The naked men of True Blood seem to get all the attention, but the ladies are hot too, and we’ve seen pretty much all there is to see of Anna. She does look smokin’. How does she do it?

“I don’t want to be one of those actresses who says, ‘I eat cheeseburgers all the time,’ I don’t! I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables.”

In addition to a strict diet, Anna stays looking her best by running, swimming, boxing, and doing Pilates. (I think walking the dogs counts too… As well as simply keeping upright on those heels…)

Anna says she’s “quite comfortable” showing off her sexy body on the show. Good thing – this is HBO, after all.

HBO celebrated the premiere of Season 3 last night at Hollywood’s Boulevard 3, which had been transformed into a gothic wonderland with giant candlesticks, stuffed wolves, and wait-staff wearing black shirts that read, “Do bad things.”

In the VIP section, Anna and Stephen sat back-to-back at two tables: “It’s because we’re both cast members,” said Paquin, wearing a cobalt blue and black Proenza Schouler frock. “I’m not his plus one, as it turns out. I think it’s actually so we can have our collective friend group.”

When asked what the audience can expect for Sookie this season, Anna replied, ”We find out what Sookie is,” she said. “I can’t tell you, obviously. There’s a lot of really surprising …moments, to say the least. I’m so bad at talking about what’s coming up without telling any plot points. It’s kind of hard to separate. And I don’t want to get in trouble with my boss, because I like Alan.”

Famously protective of her private life, she was even less forthcoming when asked about rumors of her upcoming wedding to Stephen Moyer: “Where did you read that?” (Excellent dodge, Anna. Good for you!)

Anna Paquin shrugs off the suggestion that she did anything remarkable when she came out as bisexual earlier this year in a PSA: ”I’m not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason, but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about — and frankly, I don’t see why everyone doesn’t care about them,” Anna told Zap2It. “So when I was asked to participate in that PSA (for True Colors First, a gay rights organization), it was just an obvious, ‘Well, of course I will.’”

Anna’s announcement received so many hits that the site crashed the day it was released.

“It wasn’t like it was a big secret,” Anna continued. “It was just a cause I cared about and privately supported, but not one that I had ever had an opportunity to speak out about in a way that would be useful. Obviously I know that one person’s voice doesn’t necessarily do that much, but I just wanted to do my bit.”

Her announcement didn’t come as a surprise to her True Blood boss, Alan Ball, who is openly gay himself: ”I thought that was really brave, and I say ‘good for her,’” Ball says. “I like the fact that she doesn’t feel the need to keep that hidden, and she was sort of saying, ‘This is who I am and I am doing this because I want to make a stand for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people, and equal rights for all’… But I don’t think it’s that big a deal, really. I was aware of this before, but when I heard that she had made that announcement, I just said, ‘Good for you.’”

We always feel a tad reluctant posting paparazzi pictures, but people do want to see them and we couldn’t resist these. Even cynical folk who think true love in Hollyweird is a load of bullshit should feel the tiniest bit of ‘awwwwww, soooo cute!’ at this beachside frolicking. Photographed at Venice Beach on Memorial Day with Stephen’s kids, our favourite real/not real couple seem totally on track for that no doubt discreet, classy wedding in the near future.
