At last, a description of the finale episode, at the moment known as ‘Before the Night is Over’ or ‘Beyond Here Lies Nothing’, appears to have been released by HBO, and it sounds er…completely insane. If you can work out what the hell is going on, you’re all smarter than me and get free cookies. If you don’t want spoilers of ANY description to ruin your viewing pleasure, don’t look after the jump. I warned you…

Episode 2.12 (finale) description:

In the season two finale, the mayhem in Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne (guest star Evan Rachel Wood) warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill’s inquisitiveness; Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt has a hard time swallowing Maxine’s endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam is forced to put his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally. Written by Alexander Woo; directed by Michael Cuesta.

Sheeeit! But what does it all mean?! Tell me tell me! Inquisitiveness? WTF?

  2. rclaurel says:

TVGuide.com: In one scene, we see that Maryann can vibrate and will Sam to shape-shift. So why, in the flashback scene, does she vibrate when they’re having sex? Was she trying to have sex with a dog?
Forbes: That is a season-revealer, so I can’t say anything. That’s a really important scene; people will be going back to that scene when they see the entire season.

maybe this has a little to do with it.

and what is the Queen and Eric keeping Bill from finding out..

  3. CitizenErased says:

I really hope Maryanne dies in a hideous and gory way. Totally sick of that bitch. Has effed up my favourite fictional town and my favourite secondary characters. I liked Rene better as a villan.

I read this a few days ago….I am baffled as well.

  5. YveE says:

I think it means there is more to Sookie than meets the eye and for some reason, the Queen doesn’t want Bill to know? But what does it mean “Jason leads Andy in the heroic abyss” does that mean they both die? I hope not…Jason is cute and Andy cracks me up!
