That’s a New Zealand accent. She tends to switch between Cali and her homeland. Its pretty normal for ex-pats away from NZ a long time.
That accent did not sound Kiwi at all. It sounded a lot more like a fake British accent, in fact.
Yeah, I heard this and was shocked! And a little pissed! Who develops a british accent overnight (other than Britney Spears when she was out of her mind)?? This knocked Anna down quite a few notches in my book. It also reminds me of when Madonna developed hers…
Anna is a Kiwi! She probably does a Cali accent to get easy work! The American accent is so easy to adopt! Sorry!
Hey deniconn08 not only does Anna usually put on an American accent for the reporters, Steve puts on a more refined British accent too.
I’m American but my mom is from the West Indies and my dad is English and when I’m around West Indians or anyone from England my ear picks up the accent and I inevitably start talking with more of an accent myself. Some people have more of a hybrid accent due to living in different places.

Funny, but apparently Stella McCartney designed the shoes Anna wore, to go with the dress for the GG’s. Oh well, I guess there will be some great consolation sex at home (OMG did I just say that?). If you can have graveyard sex, why not consolation sex?
I’m probably the only one but I LOVED her Golden Globe shoes. They might have competed too much with the dress but I thought they were pretty fierce. These shoes are fabulous as well. She looks gorgeous.
I Think Anna was gorgeous in both events. And really, girls, don’t you think she knew everybody would talk about her shoes at the GG. She is a smart lady, knows how to be the center of attention and that’s fine. You know, I think, when you are Anna Paquin and have that man at your side, everything fits you perfect.

oh just photos of those tight jeans he wears often. One in particular, from Season 1 esp 6 when he’s standing outside on sookie lawn with sam ( as the collie) and something is outlined very well, just let me say that. :)

I am so disappointed that my favorite show didn’t win. I must say, though, that Mad Men is also a great series. And, of course, Stephen and Anna looked absolutely glorious.
FYI – Stephen is wearing a TUX with necktie, as some men (including our fashion-forward President Obama) are doing this season.
