Ok Spoiler Junkies! Ready for some action?
This is from Afterelton.com:
- Alexander’s bare bum is nowhere to be seen. On the plus side, Joe Manganiello finds yet another reason to drop trou.
- Lafayette and Jesus get some nice moments together as things come to a head after Lafayette’s recent possession by a dead woman looking for her child. Fans of the couple should be especially pleased as their relationship becomes central to how the storyline plays out.
-Elsewhere, everyone’s been talking about what Sookie feels for Eric and Bill, and whether or not she is torn between the two. I won’t say whether or not this episode resolves that, but I will say we have some interesting discussion of sexual politics that we don’t often see addressed in popular culture. It will definitely be interesting to see what more they do with this.
Regarding the threesome, US Magazine has even more info on the sexy Sookie’s dream:
Bill (Stephen Moyer) tends to a delirious Sookie (Anna Paquin), who, in a fever-dream sequence, imagines having a three-way with him and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard)! “I can love both of you,” she says.

NOOOOOOO, this is truly a bummer. There should only be one vampire in sookie’s life and that should be eric. I can’t bare watching sookie say those words, it’s a disappointment for me.
Why? A polyamory relationship for her with the two vampires would certainly be interesting to watch. The dynamics, the jealousy, the love, the companionship, the compromises, etc. I never seen that on tv and only read about the subject a while ago.
It would definitely change the show and split with the book cannon and when AB and Co have done it, they have been mostly successful.

Exactly, why should she have to choose indeed. It’s her body , her life, if the respective men don’t like it , they can hit the door.
I remember seeing the spoiler pix of her on a dining table. I wonder if anything happens ON the table???

I think the series should end with her in bed (a very large bed) with the men she loves. One, nice big, happy, blood-sucking, shifting, were-ing, snarky family.

LOL – I know how you feel but for me it’s Bill.
Really, though I’m thinking maybe ol’ Sook needs a bit of a break from all men/vampires/were’s/shifters & take some time to absorb all that has happened to her in a relatively short time frame. Until she knows herself better, it’s hard to imagine how she will know what she wants in a partner.
Both vampires have great qualities so who says she really cant have both.
I’ve been wondering if they’d ever go there on the show and I’m really curious to see how they take it, even if it’s just a fantasy scene. It also addresses that nagging twinge in my gut every time Bill or Eric would address Sookie in terms of ownership, like they’re two parents fighting over the last Tickle Me Elmo doll in the store the night before Christmas. Plus you NEVER see sexy threesomes with two guys and one girl. Bring it on, True Blood! I await Sunday night with curious enthusiasm.

I see what you guys believe in and you have the right to express your own opinion, but I must disagree. You seem to want sookie to become a slut and not care if she was manipulated or lied to. She deserves better, she deserves a BRAIN.
While I agree that Sookie seems to forgive men too easily for their rather serious transgressions, I fail to see how her being attracted to two attractive men makes her a “slut.” Particularly when she’s had the least number of sexual partners of any main character outside of Jessica (and possibly Lafayette, depending on how you view the prostitute thing from before).
Yes they are attractive but that’s besides the point. If one wants to still have a sexual relationship with someone who used you, than that is a new low for sookie. It is normal for her to feel some lust for both of them because she drank their blood and vice versa. But that doesn’t mean she has to be so weak minded and play hot potato, even if it is just two vampires. She’s far better than that, but that’s just my opinion. You pick your poison as to what type of person you would like sookie to be.
You are using the same argument that some of the Bill fans used when Sookie went to Eric. I didn’t agree with that then and I don’t agree with it now. It is only a dream fueled by her having Bill’s blood. I don’t expect it to be much. Why don’t you wait and see what happens?
And I want Sookie to be strong and have a Brain and use it too and I will be the first one to say it if I think she isn’t. But I won’t call her a slut. Because she isn’t.
I agree that I should wait and see what happens. But I never suggested that sookie IS a slut. I know it’s not fair how women who sleep with many men are portrayed differently from men who do, I understand it. I personally think it’s disgusting for both. But I am only following sookie’s character the way it was written in the book. I never read that she slept with two men or several others at the same time just for the fun of it or because she couldn’t choose, it’s not like her. But since this is HBO, I have to accept the fact that some changes have to be made to keep the viewers entertained, which I sometimes disagree on.
Andrea, you are correct is saying that Sookie said she could never be with two men in the books. But this is just a dream that I don’t think will go anywhere. Really.
When Allam Ball was asked if the Eric Sookie shower scene from the book would be on the series and he answered that it there was going to be something in the shower but that the scene would be much dirtier than we expected. The first thing that came to my mind was that they were going to add Bill to it. I’m glad that it is going to be a fantasy because the actual act would create relationship tensions that would be hard to work out later. This thing of her being able to love both is going to be interesting and will bring a whole range of emotions to be explored by the show making it even more interesting. And that way we don’t need to see the annoying Quinn.
Honestly, what I’m most interested in seeing is which version of Eric will appear in Sookie’s dream: will it be sweet amnesia Eric, or our beloved bad boy Eric?
I’m hoping it will be the real Eric, because it would show that she loves Eric for what he is and not only for what he could be.
Though I want Sookie to end up with Eric, it’s normal that she’s still torn between the two of them. In her mind it has only been, what? less than a month? , since she and Bill broke up. It’s ok for her to have feelings for both of them, but she eventually will have to sort them out.
Joana-I think it has only been like 4-5 days since Bill and Sookie broke up (in Sookies view). So to me she is already a slut LOL. I say bring it on. And I imagine it will be AE, but you are right if it is the ‘real’ Eric that would be interesting.

You know, the problem with me is that I don’t believe a woman can be in love with two guys at the same time. And when one is in love, doesn’t want to be with another person. Maybe I’m too simplistic, but this is how I work. We have to believe that Sookie was deeply in love with Bill (and it was just past week for her) and now what, we have to believe she’s in love with Eric? Love is not a switch that you can turn on and off that way. I honestly think that Eric is her rebound love but when is she going to realize? And if she really fell for AE, why is she still longing for Bill?
I get this is the power of the blood, and all that… but I don’t really look forward this threesome scene.
ZZ, I am really not looking forward to it either. But I guess I will endure it and chalk it up to yet another time that AB is screwing with our minds..lol.
