Sookie took her chances walking in on Eric the way she did. Pam did try to warn her, but the Sookster is a great one for barging in unannouced. She always wants what she wants when she wants it, consequences be damned.

I didn’t like seeing Eric speed fuck the stripper because she was hung up like a piece of meat in a butcher shop; she could have been a blow up sex doll for all the feeling he had for her. But I laughed when Eric asked Sookie is she saw anything she liked.

I didn’t see the “sex doll” complaining…or screaming out in pain. In fact…she said “Hi” to Sookie. I actually liked that scene. Show’s Eric is not sitting around waiting for sNookie. Show’s how bored he is not having a real relationship too. Eric needs to “feel” again. It’s been centuries…like before Bill was even “born”?

I think Eric could have easily avoided taking Bill to the magister but he has wanted Bill out of the way since he met Sookie. Bill was forced to turn Jessica, and lets face it , if he hadn’t she could have suffered a worse fate..she was in that trunk for a reason. The sam stuff…just jealousy between two men.

Not so. Eric stood up for Bill with the magister. Eric has never wanted Bill “out of the way” either. Does he want to beat Bill? Triumph over Bill? Have what is “his”? You betcha! In a fair fight. Eric does believe he’s the better Vampire, LOL!
Jessica? Not a book character but a great addition to the cast! I want to see the Bill and Jessica sl. I want Bill to be a good “maker”. That would be so good for Bill. Real growth. Sam? BS on the “just jealousy” crap. Sookie had a hard time stopping Bill from KILLING her boss. She rescinded his invitation to her house…with good reason! Hot head? Possessive beyond reason? Yeah!

Bill staking the guard and doing what he has been doing in Jackson?? its been all about protecting sookie once he found out how interested RE was in her….her telepathy would be an advantage to a power hungry vampire. This has nothing to do with the files Franklin found…granted I don’t think that is over by any means…….they will seal with that back in BT I’m sure. Sookie has other things on her mind.

Yeah…Sookie has other things on her mind…like staying alive? I’m not going to argue that Bill has done what he has to protect Sookie. That’s clear. Book and show. In the books RE was not interested in Sookie…or Bill, or even QSA, LOL! Love that combination of characters. The King of Arkansas…the King of Mississippi? Franklin Mott and Mikey? Woo Hoo! And the moving forward of WHAT is Sookie? The fairy connection. The Hadley connection. And poor desperate Bill? Learning experience for all the characters this season…LOVE IT!

I don’t buy that Eric was only putting on an act with Sookie for KRE’s benefit. When he snarled at Sookie and said he cared nothing about her, he also told her that he wanted something for a thousand years and warned her not to get in his way. His fangs were fully extended and he had a very vicious look on his face. It could not have been for KRE’s benefit because Eric was in the room alone with Sookie. That was not the look of someone who cares, and there was nothing that showed he had remorse for the way he treated her. AB says that Sookie and Eric will have sex for real on the show, but I don’t understand how she could ever forget that look on his face.

I saw that scene totally differently. It was Eric putting on an ACT for Sookie’s sake…to save Sookie. He wanted to scare her…he wanted her to realize he wouldn’t be SAVING her or Bill. Eric wanted Sookie to understand his agenda came FIRST. His agenda of Saving Pam? Good for Eric. Eric LOVES Pam! Sookie doesn’t know about Pam or Eric’s dilemma. Eric was trying to PUT dear Sookie under Russell’s protection. Does Eric give a shit about Bill? Absolutely NOT!
I’m sure at this point Eric considers Bill a huge FU! And there’s yappy Sookie getting in the way of his agenda? Demanding he do her bidding?
Eric does care for Sookie. He just did his best to keep her safe and Bill be damned. Eric doesn’t LIKE having feelings for Sookie. I’m sure at this point he regrets tricking her into a few drops of his blood.

BUT…if AB follows the books at all…this will be a turning point. Sookie…being dragged up the stairs demanding Eric “save” Bill even after he’s snarled at her…fangs extended…convincing her he doesn’t give a damn about her or Bill? Bill draining Sookie dry? Bill, Eric and Sookie finally figuring out WHAT Sookie is?

I like the way AB bounces back and forth from book to book…combining characters…plot and sl’s. Fleshing things out. Eric and Sookie didn’t have sex in book three. They came close! But Eric didn’t have this revenge and save Pam sl either. And he NEVER snarled at Sookie and told her he didn’t care. Just that he didn’t LIKE having “feelings”.

I don’t think Eric and Sookie are going to have sex this season either. Come close maybe? Who will put the brakes on? Mutual maybe? With an understanding of unfinished business perhaps?

There is absolutely nothing in either the books or the TV series that suggests Bill stood by and watched Sookie get beat up by the Ratrays. There is, however, a particlular fiction story written by an obvious Eric fan on FanFiction.net that says exactly that. According to the writer, Bill not only watched Sookie get beat up, he more or less set it up, so that he could move in and be the hero by saving her. it was one of the ways he plotted to get close to Sookie so he could procure her for QSA, only he fell in love with her instead.

I don’t do “fan-fiction”. I don’t believe for a minute Bill set up Sookie. He was just LATE! He felt bad about being late. He apologized and took responsibility.
I also believe Bill fell deeply in love with Sookie…possibly against his better judgment. She’s nothing but Trouble you know!
