THE CASTING COUCH
JOE MANGANIELLO has been cast in the role of ALCIDE HERVEAUX: Good-looking, rough-around-the-edges, articulate, heroic, and decent, but not what he seems. He gets along well with Sookie. There’s even an attraction between the two. Very strong recurring. ————————————————————————————————————————————————–
SHANNON LUCIO has been cast in the role of CAROLINE COMPTON: 20′s. Seen in 1866, a lovely, very strong, brave, well-bred and well-spoken Southern woman, Caroline pulls a shotgun on the intruder into her house–clearly prepared to use it–till she realizes it’s her husband Bill (Stephen Moyer), whom she was sure had died in the War. THIS IS A GREAT SCENE
————————————————————————————————————————————————–
VINCENT WARD has been cast in the role of HOLLIS: Mid 40′s, African American, this bouncer in a bar looks like he either was an NFL lineman or has just eaten one. A nice guy who knows Alcide well(though he is suspicious of Alicide’s guest, Sookie) Hollis bursts into help when Alcide is getting the crap beaten out of him and then gives him some unexpected bad news about his fiancee, Debbie…2 speeches, 7 lines, 2 scenes.

IT HURTS ME TOO
LYRICS by BOB DYLAN
So run here baby, put your little hands in mine
I’ve got something to tell you
I know you’re gonna change your mind
When things go wrong, so wrong with you
It hurts me too.
I want you, baby, just to understand
I don’t wanna be your boss, baby
I just wanna be your man
When things go wrong, so wrong with you
It hurts me too.
Now when you go home, you don’t have to get along
Come back to me, baby
Where I live that’s where you belong
When things go wrong, so wrong with you
It hurts me too.
I love you baby, and you know that it’s true
I wouldn’t mistreat you, baby
Nothing in this world is like you
Yes, when things go wrong, so wrong with you
It hurts me too
When things go wrong, so wrong with you
It hurts me too.
So run here baby, put your little hands in mine
I’ve got something to tell you, baby
I know you’re gonna change your mind
When things go wrong, so wrong with you
Don’t you know, really, don’t you know it hurts me too.
LYRICS by JAMES ELMORE
You said you were hurting
You almost lost your mind
Now the man you love
he hurts you all the time
but when things go wrong
go wrong with you
It hurts me too
You love him more
when you should love him less
why lick up behind him
and take his mess
but when things go wrong
go wrong with you
It hurts me too
He loves another woman
yes I love you
but you love him
and stick to him like glue
but when things go wrong
go wrong with you
It hurts me too
Now he better leave you
or you better put him down
no I wont stand
to see you pushed around
but when things go wrong
go wrong with you
It hurts me too
