Organizers say first-time fundraiser “HallowEast” held in Charleston was a big success thanks to Sam Trammel’s appearance.
The weekend’s biggest draws were for events featuring actor and Charleston native Sam Trammell, who stars in the HBO hit series “True Blood.”
Fans had a chance to meet and talk with Trammell at two separate receptions, and the actor participated in a special interview in which he fielded questions from a moderator and the audience.
Cavender admits it will be a challenge to top Trammell’s appearance and is already being questioned about what and who might be on the agenda next year.
“We obviously had the bar raised pretty high,” he said.
