So keep your wits about you, Jessica and Pam (and all the other vamps we’ve come to know and love): The Authority has spoken, and there can be no mercy when there is evidence!
Please check all cameras and smart phones and iPads at the door. YouTube Vamp couldn’t have been too bright, or maybe he was just really hungry, but being staked for the poor judgement of drinking from a smiley, gum-smacking, terrible-at-acting-afraid girl seems overly harsh. Rest in peace.

If you watched that scene with Nan and Bill, it was a pre -ordained order and Bill had no option but to follow orders. He had to do Nan’s bidding. Don’t put it on Bill’s shoulders – just watch that scene again.

Look, I can see the example-making strategy here, to deter vamps from being seen to be vampish, but doesn’t the Authority have to put up its own Youtube clips of these vampire executions to send the message of reassurance to the human public, which is the bigger point, after all?
And Nan needs more than the rank-and-file vamps for her show-and-tell. She needs to make an example of a big fish, at least one nearer to KRE’s size. – or a vamp close to a big fish, to demonstrate no fear or favour. Yes, look out Pam and Jessica – you’be be perfect propaganda sacrifices.

On the previous news item on the video of Eric, someone commented on how everyone seemed to be accepting and justifying Eric’s killing and draining of Claudine and pointed out the following:
“Had it been Bill who viciously attacked, drained and killled Claudine he would have been instantly thrown to the wolves and without mercy.”
Can see from the comments above at just how right they were.

I thought he deserved another chance… not the true death… even though, yes, he was quite stupid. RIP dude. What I don’t get is how fast can a human pull a trigger exactly? and how fast can a vamp move? I would have killed them all and taken the damn camera. And while I’m on the tangent, WHY in the hell don’t the vamps do something like grabbing technology right out of idiots’ hands? No one live streams off their gorram phone!
