Kristin Bauer van Straten and Michelle Forbes were glad to see each other and shared good laughs at The American Humane Association’s First Annual Hero Dog Awards, celebrated at The Beverly Hilton hotel on October 1, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.

The American Humane Association’s Hero Dog Awards was created to shine a spotlight on the thousands of dogs making a difference to people in need every day by providing comfort and support with their unconditional love. The star-studded event celebrated eight extraordinary heroic dogs and recognized their acts of heroism. The Hero Dog Awards will be broadcast nationwide by Hallmark Channel on November 11, 2011.
