Holly Cleary is a major character in the Southern Vampire Mysteries books “True Blood” is based on, in which Holly is a practicing Wiccan.
Bowles most recently appeared in guest spots on ABC’s “Private Practice” and CBS’ Cold Case.”

isnt she just a major character in book 4, she doesnt really pop up any where else? i cant remeber??
I am not shure but she is the introduction to the witches, as she either gets sookie in with the witch coven that put the spell on eric, or she helps sookie by befriending the evil witches after sookie finds holly kid. I am wondering if allen ball is going to set up season 4 a bit in season 3. He could also be trying to distiguish the show from “just vamps” not shure. should be interesting to see how he sets up this character.
yeah I assumed he would use holly as a lead in 2 another group of supernaturals , the witches & wiccans. I agree will be interesting 2 c how AB sets this character.
wow, so we’re introduced to werewolves, werepanthers, fairies and witches this season. i just hope it doesn’t get as crazy as season 2. i actually like it when the show focuses more on the vampire world (like the dallas epis last season). but we’ll see. definitely going to be interesting. and if they’re introducing holly to set up season 4 and the spell, i’m all for it. ;-)
