Kristin Bauer (Vampire Pam) now a Regular on True Blood

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Eric’s sidekick Pam on “True Blood” is getting a promotion. As we love us some Vampire Pam, this is awesome news! Seems like we already knew this, but congrats Kristin!
Kristin Bauer, who plays blonde vampire Pam, Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgard) wingwoman at vampire bar Fangtasia, has been promoted to regular on the HBO series.
Bauer had guest starred on Alan Ball’s vampire drama for the first two seasons, appearing in a total of 11 episodes. Ball recently hinted that may have a meaty story line in store for Pam for Season 3 when she may get into a lesbian relationship.
Bauer, who most recently co-starred on the CBS drama pilot “House Rules,” is repped by the Paul Kohner Agency and Kritzer/Levine/Wilkins/Griffin.
It’s a busy casting time at “True Blood,” which started production on the third season last week.
This is wonderful news. Pam is a hoot, and Kristin plays her beautifully!
Pam is always fun. There’s going to be so many regulars there won’t be time for the regulars. :(

I agree with aem – too many cast members, but I really so like the character Pam! She is so snarky and funny!
I was worried about so many characters coming in also, but in saying that I have total trust in allan ball.. Another thing I like about the show is that even the minor characters develop and get an arc.. The likes of terry & andy bellefleur, and hoyt. I never took notice of hoyt in the first season, now I love him… He is really sweet!
If pam is getting a so called lesbian relationship. I heard in the casting call for yvetta, that not only does eric notice her, but Pam does also.
Awesome we get more Pam. TB has been established as a show filled with hot male eye candy. The show cant forget about its male audience. The guys need some eye candy too!!!

I’m totally gay for Pam and delighted at this news, except for one thing. More Pam = more Eric = CE bored/annoyed/mildly nauseous. Congrats to Kristin on getting her name on the credits where it belongs but I hope she gets to do fun Pam stuff on her own.
More Eric makes me gag too, CE. Maybe AB can eventually replace Eric with Pam, as she is more fun.
One of the few times Eric is bearable is when interacting with Pam. Pam alone is even better
