Part of HBO’s post-ep synopsis includes an interview with one of the actors and today it’s Kristin Bauer. She talks about Pam’s relationship with Eric being that of a father and daughter, what further tests Pam will face in the last three eps, and whether or not Sookie would be better off with Pam than any of her male suitors.

I love Pam and I love the father-child relationship Eric and Pam have…But really why would we expect any different from Eric who had an obviously great maker in Godric!!! Hmmm I wonder how the show fits the Godric flashback into these last 3 episodes!!!
Since we are talking daddys, and even though this is about Pam and Eric. I have to mention bill quick. The interview does mention bill a little. Yes, @ first bill has been not such a great maker for obvious reasons. 1) reluctancy and 2)personally i think his priority around sookie and not guiding his child properly (some reasons ofcourse not his fault). But i think this will change from now on. Bill will be a great maker too!!! He was a Father when he was human!!!
The daddy discussions nice for a change! Get away from the blood, violence, politics, death and sex for a change!!!
Pam is now and has been my favorite character from both books and show. And Godric willing, she will continue to be pure awesome!

Pam and Eric truly are so very sweet together. It is great to see such a loving maker/child relationship – it’s non-romantic and built on complete trust in each other. I really enjoy their scenes with each other.

Nowhere is Eric more completely vampire than he is as Pam’s Maker. (Don’t worry, the grammar is a mess, I know). Don’t we all love that relationship between Pam and Eric? Such a steady, reliable, delicately drawn dynamic in a turbulent series.
