Lots of True Blood actors fill their hiatus with other projects and Jim Parrack plans to take to the stage. Parrack will star in “Terre Haute” by Edmund White, produced by the Blank Theatre in Hollywood.

“‘Terre Haute,’ which runs Oct. 2 to Nov. 14 at the Second Stage Theatre, is a two-person drama inspired by the epistolary friendship that developed between bomber Timothy McVeigh and writer Gore Vidal. White’s drama imagines a series of conversations between the two unlikely friends, whose names the playwright has changed from their real-life inspirations. …’

Parrack will play the imprisoned bomber opposite Mike Farrell, an alumnus of TV’s “MASH,” who will take on the role of the writer. The production is directed by Kirsten Sanderson …”
