Stephen Moyer in Peurto Rico

As you all know, Stephen Moyer is in Puerto Rico filming his new movie The Caller. There have been numerous articles on this topic and here’s another. One of our favourite people, Lazyam, has translated this one for us from the newspaper El Nuevo Dia.

Oh, and there’s also a few tidbits at the end of the article you all might enjoy.

HERE THE HIGHER VAMPIRE

The production is in it’s initial stage in San Juan. Since Stephen Moyer arrived in Puerto Rico, he’s been dedicated to doing camera, wardrobe and makeup tests. Also, he’s been studying the script of the movie “The Caller”.

At the end of last week, the production team of the movie, started to take some shots to establish the story in Puerto Rico. Filming is going to extend for four weeks in different parts of the metropolitan area.

Moyer was present on the set, Friday and Monday, to do some camera tests. Insiders from “El Nuevo Dia” said that despite his popularity, the actor is charming and pleasant.

The actor, well known for his interpretation of Bill Compton in the popular HBO series, True Blood, will play John, in the thriller movie. His character is the main support and new love interest of Mary Kee, the leading actress.

According to the plot, the woman just ended her marriage to her husband Steve (Ed Quinn, also from True Blood), who abused her physically. To start a new life, she moves to a new apartment, not knowing that in the larder there’s an old phone that will serve as a vehicle for a woman to communicate from the past. As the story develops, the young woman (Kee) would learn that to survive, she has to destroy the woman.

Luis Guzman and Lorna Raver play main characters in the movie. A group of Puerto Rican actors are part of the cast, including Alfredo de Quesada, Gladys Rodriguez, Cordelia Gonzalez, Grace Connelly and Aris Mejia. It is possible that in the following days, more actors will join the cast.

“The Caller” is directed by Matthew Parkhill and among its producers is Luillo Ruiz, who produced the movie “Maldeamores”.

One bit of information for Stephen Moyer fans that we can pass on is that there’s one erotic scene in the movie between Steve’s character  John and Rachelle LeFevre’s, Mary Kee . It was filmed on a closed set this past Tuesday, Nov. 24′th.

And here’s another little bit of info. A fan spotted the cast from “The Caller” including Stephen and Anna at the highly acclaimed restaurant, Marmalade, last night. He even got to exchange a few words with Steve outside the restaurant, in San Jaun.
