Frankly, I’ve found most of the recent crop of fashion shoots with TB people a bit of a wannabe stylist’s/photog’s B-list stuff . This batch is worthy of the model, IMO. Love that second pic in particular – talk about ever-virgin vampire mankiller – oh yeah, there she is. Great schmutter for a change, too.

I love her! She’s amazing! I’m looking forward to her movies, can’t wait to see her in action with Nikki Reed.

I’m absolutely certain that fox was far lovelier before it was skinned alive for a photo shoot.

    • Acanthus says:

God. I hadn’t noticed the fox trim in the opening pic. Actually, I bet that Deborah Ann Woll will not be happy on reflection with the Jacobs shoot – bet that even if she’s not a PETA celeb member, she thinks along those lines and supports the principles of the anti-fur lobby.

The fur supply trade (especially, but not limited to, the trade in China) is truly vile and stomach-churningly inhumane, and I speak here as a meat-eater, and wearer of leather , not pleather,

Deborah Ann Woll beautiful as always love the coat I am all for wearing fur & leather as long as it comes from a regulated industry, lumping Canada’s fur trade and China’s fur trade is not a fair comparison at all. If handled correctly fur/leather bearing animals can be a hugely renewable resource.

  5. MS says:

A “regulated industry” where animals are skinned alive after being rectally shocked with a metal probe? And, are you referring to the Canadian fur trade that includes clubbing seals and ripping off their fur, often while the animals are still alive, leaving the bloody carcass to waste and rot next to their newborn pups? The methods of killing animals for fur & the treatment of those animals while awaiting a gruesome death is quite similar between Canada & China, regardless of how much people fail to realize it. In addition, consumers and designers alike rarely know for a fact where their fur originated. Think about the fur trimmed items in the States that are completely unregulated & unlabeled that contain the fur of DOGS. What’s renewable is not killing animals purely for the sake of ‘fashion’ in an inhumane and wasteful manner. Think again, Tracy.

    • NotHoney says:

Thank you, MS! I honestly could not have written it any better. You rock.

    • I agree with you MS. It’s a shame really fur was used in the shot. Ms. Woll is a beauty. I truly hope she thinks in the future on what’s involved in a photo and does not become a puppet to stylist. We all know some actresses are stylist pets and don’t care about how the “fashionable” clothing was acquired. Ex Jennifer Lopez.

  6. Tracy says:

    Thanks for your opinion.

I have educated myself on the proper handling of animals and fur because I do believe in making informed decisions for my self.
Please don’t get me wrong I am totally against out right blatant abuse of animals and humans alike but any self respecting hunter/trapper/gatherer would never cause an animal suffering as it would damage the product that is to be harvested.

And as for the seal hunt years ago it was a unregulated industry it has changed and 1 example of this is now seals may only be killed once they have started molting (from 12 to 15 days of age) as this coincides with the time when they are abandoned by their mothers.
