The king is putting pressure on Bill to turn Sookie?

  3. konfettii says:

See, THAT makes sense to me, the turning thing. The King has an excellent point, as did Eric and Hugo from last season. Not saying I think Sookie should become a Vampire, but that *is* a pretty big obstacle, and one of the issues Sookie herself spouted during her cying bit after Bill proposed.
From a Vampire point of view that would make the most sense, unless one was really wanting a science experiement. *shrug* And if Sookie is ‘valuable’ why not ‘keep’ her?

Its all making sense now. The show definately has done what the books have done and established bill was sent to bon temps for a particular purpose. King russell wants to find out why, and he has some idea it has to do with sookie. He wants bill to be a sheriff because of something we dont know about bill yet..(Bill is the man). He also knows it will mean he has access to miss sookie as soon as he knows whats so special about her. Then he wants to increase his power by marrying Queen Sophie-Ann. She should do it, it would get her out of debt.
Wow! Every1 defin8ly wants a piece of sookie!!!

I assume Russell knows that Sookie reads minds. If she becomes a vampire, will she be able to read vampire’s minds? Thereby making her much more valuable.

  6. amelia says:

According to the books, she would probably be able to read a vampires mind. In the books at one point after she had a good bit of Eric’s blood at Sophie Ann’s trial for a short time she could read their minds. According to the books so far she told Eric she never wanted him to change her even if she was at death’s door! But that is the books who knows what the show will bring.

I think she’s gotten only very brief glimpses into vamp minds in the books- Eric twice and Stan once. Supes are harder to read. But there’d be no guarantee the the supe power that you had as a human-telepathy, psychic, etc-would carry over once you were a vamp.

At least in the books. I have no idea how AB will play it.

Poor Bill looks in for more misery next week but i am looking forward to seeing more of Franklin Mott and introduction of Alcide .
