Entertainment Weekly is asking if anyone has ever seen Eric looking more hot (metaphorically, of course, as I’m sure he was as tepid as ever, even if television screens were combusting) than he did in last night’s episode. The blue sweater is lovely on him…

Amazing what a blue sweater can do for the man. He is lovely. I got a huge giggle out of all the comments on the EW site after you vote. We are one wacky bunch of folks. But it’s so fun.

I may be one of the few women in the world that does not find Alex Skarsgard all that attractive. He meets all the checklist requirements for a handsome man, and yet it doesn’t work for me. HOWEVER, having said that – Eric/AS did look particularly lovely this episode. The blue sweater was quite nice, and Eric was mainly charming – it did gel together to create a very pretty picture.
I do think that AS is attractive but he isn’t my type ….i am more for a dark, brooding man .
May also be something to do with the fact that i think Eric is a conniving so and so but that’s my personal opinion !
Eric looked so yummy! They should get him out of the black. Maybe like Pam. Black for work, sexy blue for not work. He also looked younger and cuter (is that a word) in the flash back.
I will say Bill hair and make up is soooooo much better this season.
I loved my daughter’s comment on Alcide (sooo hot) “Look he is so tall he had to duck as he came in the door so he wouldn’t hit his georgous head.”
Yeah, yeah! Eric did look a bit younger. I wasn’t sure if it was because in the flashbacks they made him look that way or if he’s just getting a lot of fresh air. Dude did look fit and healthy.
I think Eric did look quite hot in the sweater. The first thing I thought though was dayumn! He’s got to be sweltering in that thing in Mississippi! But then I remember that he is dead, and that he’s probably really cold allatime ;)

I’ve gotta say, though, Bill was looking pretty good, too, and he’s not my type.
I have to (blasphemously) say that the darkly erotic signage of that black tank top is beginning to pall, and the beefcake parade is, too. Starting to look like a girls’-night-out male strip thing. I’m getting jaded.
Eric in powder blue and something with sleeves – sleeves! on True Blood! – made me sit up and stare. Loooooved that Eric to pieces. That the Viking also looked ambiguously metrosexual in that snug-fitting cashmere seemed shrewd, too – Eric cannily dressed to win hearts among the boyz at court.
Eric looked delightful in the blue sweater – it softened his look somehow, together with his pleading eyes when discussing pam’s perilous situation at the hands of the magister or his flirty banter with talbot.
However, I do love him in black (tailored jackets, long-sleeved t’s)… and that kick-ass grey suit…
Total agreement with all points you make there, gattopardo.(and Eric playing Talbot) Don’t get me wrong – I’m pro-black on Eric. That wife beater is just getting to be a uniform, and its dangerously sexy coinage is sorta debased for me now.

I think Eric is following his advice to Lafayette about sales. He dressed the way the King and Talbot would like him to dress. NOT what Lafayette did at Hot Shot and exactly what Eric gave him hell for. Eric knows his audience and who he is trying to sell. If he had shown up in a black wife beater, hmmm…not so sure he would have been taken as seriously.
