absolutely loving the RE character. denis ohare definitely owns him. denis has brought his own brand of magic to true blood. the scenes between bill and RE have become some of my s3 favorites. love watching the interaction between these two wonderful actors.

Nicely nailed, AF. Of all the vampires we’ve seen so far, Russell/Denis is to me the most classical version – a taste for a fashionable existence, and a taste for blood, and a taste for power, and the extravagant means to satisfy all those tastes. .The suave aristo gentleman and the Undead nightmare. Seductive, repulsive. Exchange the opera cloak for a leather Armani jacket, the coach-and-four matched black horses for a black limousine with tinted windows, the nominal Count for King, and presto! Drac is back, dead and rich and now gay and loving it! I wonder if King Rusty’s reign lasts past Season 3. REALLY hope so.

LOL For instance, “Sookie Stackhouse” is a killer. he is fun.
I always think i’m not watching real vampires when i hear them talk… the older ones are improving but…you can feel it.

I’m very happy with Russell too, or at least how Dennis is playing him. Russell is such a languid, self assured creature but he has all this nasty humour and power underneath. Kudo’s to the casting agents once again.
