The covers of the True Blood comic books are only getting better and better in my opinion. I mean really, check out the two below, from the 3rd in the series.
Oh, and just so you know, this 3rd collector’s edition will be available on September 22nd, but the first of the series will be available July 21, 2010. Buy em while they last – cause you know we’ve already got a bunch on order.

I thought the first cover was cuteness. Some of them have been a bit random though.
Yeah, i think i just find them not so well drawn… they either look copied directly from the photo using some sort of drawing software (for example, the Eric cover above), or they don’t look like the characters at all, like the Sookie and Bill cover above. It’s just disappointing. They could have chosen better artists to be drawing the work.
My thoughts exactly, and I mean exactly. The effect screams merchandising, not fresh creative spin. Okay, so the comic book thing IS merchandising, but one would have hoped for a better disguise.

Are you referring to “Fresca”? Soft drink popular in the South when I was growing up. Drank a lot of it.
