cabbage poster1 anna paquinJust a little reminder that if your in the London area this coming December there’s some perfect entertainment for you and the kids. Steve and Anna have agreed to provide voiceovers for the Brentwood Theatre Company’s family musical, the Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner, which is being performed over Christmas.

The pair will be voicing about a dozen lines for the characters Mr and Mrs Big One from the production, which is based around animals living in a garden trying to stop its owners concreting it over.

David Zelly, production manager for the company, said: “Both Stephen and Anna have agreed to do the voices and we are now just waiting for the final phone call to come through from them saying where and when they will do it.

“Stephen does a lot with us whenever he can and we thought it would be a very nice thing if we could get them involved.”

Tickets for the show are still available, priced between £11 and £12.50, and can be bought by calling 01277 200305.

Stephen and Anna will voice “Mr. and Mrs. Big One” for the holiday production of “The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner” at the Brentwood Theatre this December. The production is part of Moyer’s Children’s Theatre Fund and if you’d like to donate to help some kids see the play, then visit the theater’s Web site and use the Paypal link. We’re all about the good causes here at The Nest, and helping some kids have a good time during the holidays is a good cause. You can also read more about the play on the theater’s Web site.

Yea, he's looking at you.

Stephen Moyer has a very big heart and loves his fans dearly. If you would like other ways to donate in his honor, All Stephen Moyer is running the Brentwood Theatre fund raiser. The fund raiser has already begun and you can get in on the fun until September 30th.

I am sure they have some really cool stuff coming your way for your participation, just check out the last charity we posted for The Vault: CRF, they always come through with really good stuff.

We were also informed that Lisa over at Stephenmoyeronline is still taking pre-orders and helping Mark at the Brentwood Theatre with the sales of Elegies CD. You can check that out here – Elegies, but I would send an e-mail first to make sure this one is still running.

Which ever you choose, Stephen will be touched at the generosity of his fans.

Stephen Moyer at Brentwood Theatre

Stephen Moyer visited the Brentwood Theatre last week, where he is a patron, and posed for these photographs in front of the donation wall. Each “brick” in this wall signifies donations from Stephen’s True Blood fans to the Brentwood Theatre. Many thousands of dollars have been raised for the theatre via several TB fan sites, including this one.

Stephen attended the December 30th performance of the theatre’s “The Twits” holiday show, which is based on the awesome Roald Dahl kiddies book. We love that scarf and jacket, rawr, and since we’ve missed perving at him rather a lot, we’d like to thank Mark from Brentwood for letting us post the pics.

True Blood star Stephen Moyer was back in his native Essex last night to take his family to a performance of The Twits at Brentwood Theatre.

The Hollywood actor started out performing with the Brentwood Operatic Society’s Youth Theatre Group but is now famous worldwide for his portrayal of charming vampire Bill Compton in the acclaimed HBO television series.

Moyer, 41, who’s engaged to True Blood co-star Anna Paquin, is back in the UK for the festive break but flies back to the US next week to start filming season three of the hit show.

Friendly, open and affable, Moyer said he’d been reluctant to talk to the press before True Blood but he’s so pleased with it he wants to spread the word.

“I’m really proud of the show so I’m really happy to talk about it.”

“It’s nice to be happy to talk about it. In terms of a job coming together and being everything I wanted, this ticks all the boxes.”

The second season of True Blood will come to British television screens in 2010.

Look out for our interview with Stephen Moyer in go! next week.
