Stephen and Anna will voice “Mr. and Mrs. Big One” for the holiday production of “The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner” at the Brentwood Theatre this December. The production is part of Moyer’s Children’s Theatre Fund and if you’d like to donate to help some kids see the play, then visit the theater’s Web site and use the Paypal link. We’re all about the good causes here at The Nest, and helping some kids have a good time during the holidays is a good cause. You can also read more about the play on the theater’s Web site.

Yea, he's looking at you.
Stephen Moyer has a very big heart and loves his fans dearly. If you would like other ways to donate in his honor, All Stephen Moyer is running the Brentwood Theatre fund raiser. The fund raiser has already begun and you can get in on the fun until September 30th.
I am sure they have some really cool stuff coming your way for your participation, just check out the last charity we posted for The Vault: CRF, they always come through with really good stuff.
We were also informed that Lisa over at Stephenmoyeronline is still taking pre-orders and helping Mark at the Brentwood Theatre with the sales of Elegies CD. You can check that out here – Elegies, but I would send an e-mail first to make sure this one is still running.
Which ever you choose, Stephen will be touched at the generosity of his fans.

As you all know, Stephen Moyer is patron to the Brentwood Theatre and has a charitable fund in place to help children attend the Brentwood performances. Thousands of dollars have been raised by fans to help the theatre to thrive. The most recent fundraiser is an ebay auction featuring a script from the BBC Series, “Extras” signed by actor Stephen Fry.
In addition to the Stephen Fry ebay auction, we wanted to update you on a new way for you to contribute to the “Steve Moyer’s Childrens Theatre Fund.” Brentwood Theatre now has a way to cash US Checks without a fee! So for anyone who wishes to support Steve Moyer’s Children’s Theatre Fund directly, please make checks out to Brentwood Theatre and add Moyer Kids Theatre Fund in the little memo field.

Stephen Moyer visited the Brentwood Theatre last week, where he is a patron, and posed for these photographs in front of the donation wall. Each “brick” in this wall signifies donations from Stephen’s True Blood fans to the Brentwood Theatre. Many thousands of dollars have been raised for the theatre via several TB fan sites, including this one.
Stephen attended the December 30th performance of the theatre’s “The Twits” holiday show, which is based on the awesome Roald Dahl kiddies book. We love that scarf and jacket, rawr, and since we’ve missed perving at him rather a lot, we’d like to thank Mark from Brentwood for letting us post the pics.

True Blood star Stephen Moyer was back in his native Essex last night to take his family to a performance of The Twits at Brentwood Theatre.
The Hollywood actor started out performing with the Brentwood Operatic Society’s Youth Theatre Group but is now famous worldwide for his portrayal of charming vampire Bill Compton in the acclaimed HBO television series.
Moyer, 41, who’s engaged to True Blood co-star Anna Paquin, is back in the UK for the festive break but flies back to the US next week to start filming season three of the hit show.
Friendly, open and affable, Moyer said he’d been reluctant to talk to the press before True Blood but he’s so pleased with it he wants to spread the word.
“I’m really proud of the show so I’m really happy to talk about it.”
“It’s nice to be happy to talk about it. In terms of a job coming together and being everything I wanted, this ticks all the boxes.”
The second season of True Blood will come to British television screens in 2010.
Look out for our interview with Stephen Moyer in go! next week.

Here’s your chance to get both Stephen Moyer’s and Anna Paquin’s autograph together in one place. Bidding has started at £10.00 GBP. Click on picture to be directed to the Ebay auction.
From the ebay listing: Brentwood Theatre is delighted to be auctioning, as a fundraising venture, the SFX Vampires Special Edition magazine which has been signed by Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin when visiting London shortly before their engagement was announced.
Stephen is the Patron of Brentwood Theatre, having been born in Billericay, a few miles down the road. As a supporter, his awareness of the community theatre has generated a huge fan base which has generated around £10,000 in donations from international fans of True Blood.
Steve and Anna are delighted that all proceeds from the sale of this exclusively signed magazine will be supporting community theatre in Brentwood.

To my Wicked Women and fans,
I am so grateful to you all for the donations to Brentwood Theatre… It is absolutely amazing… They really can’t get over all this. It is so above and beyond the call of duty and I am amazed at the amount of funds raised in such a short time. I am touched that you have donated in my honour.
So much love to you all -
And also thanks to all those of you who voted for the… erm… Vaseline moment at the Emmys… very glad it wasn’t quickly followed by a Kleenex commercial …. ; )

UPDATE: No more entries accepted. The winner and donators list will be announced after Stephen Moyer selects the winning number.
STEPHEN MOYER WILL PICK THE NUMBER OF THE WINNER!!
True Blood fans have we got a treat for you!
In an effort to raise even more funds for the Brentwood Theatre Essex UK, where Stephen Moyer is a patron, we have in our possession a very RARE True Blood COLLECTORS item.
An anonymous fan who heard about our fundraiser events, donated an authentic TEST TUBE VIAL of TRU:BLOOD to True Blood News at the Nest to help raise money for Brentwood. We have decided to give the vial away to a special FAN that makes a donation below.
This tube was part of the Red Seal Mystery promotion that was sent to a limited group of people from across the country to build up interest in Season One. It was only sent by mail.
Actual Tube you can own!
This item was NEVER available for sale.
You can have the chance to own the Test Tube, the Vial of blood inside the test tube and the paper inside the tube that reads:
“Tru Blood is pure, a substitute for the real thing. It will forever alter the way we live and interact with the human world. You are one of the first to receive a sample and become a pioneer in this eminent change. We invite you to become willing participants on this journey and tell others of our kind what you think of the product. IT HAS BEGUN.”
This product is guaranteed to be 100% effective.”
We found some interesting video’s on the HBO marketing phenomenon the first one we got from HBO’s own Blood Copy.
This item will only increase in value as it becomes more rare over time. Many people that received these either drank them or threw them away not knowing what a valuable collectors item it would be. This vial has never been opened. Some have already been auctioned off on Ebay and now YOU have a chance to own one while helping out the Brentwood Theatre!
Donations are $5.00 each, donate as many times as you want. You will receive a transaction ID after your donation, usually located at the top right of your confirmation email. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU HOLD ON TO YOUR RECEIPT. If you donated $20.00, it will be viewed as 4 donations of $5.00 on event day, WHICH IS GOOD! The more you donate, the better. Each participant will be eligible to participate in the fundraising event on Sunday September 20th at 9pm est., our first Sunday without True Blood.
All participants will be mentioned at the end of the event. The Brentwood Theatre is extremely thankful to everyone who has donated and they will know who you are!
