The trailer for Ryan Kwanten’s new thriller “7500″ has been released. This does look like a good thriller, no? I wonder if it will be the movie I think about every time I board a plane? (Like how I think of “Jaws” every time I step into a big body of water.) What do you think? Will you go see it?

The September 2011 issue of Australian AXN magazine features a picture of Alexander Skarsgård, but the interview inside the magazine is about True Blood’s creator, Alan Ball. Alan talked to the magazine before his first trip to Australia about sex with vampires, casting True Blood, and politics of the show as an allegory for the gay rights movement. Some of the other male stars are also featured inside the magazine, as you can see in the scans below.
Alan Ball: “I think there’s also something really sexy about the notion of being so incredibly intimate that you share your essence with someone. The idea of feeding on each other is kind of insane, but at the same time very alluring.”

A video from MysteryGuitarMan on YouTube surfaced yesterday featuring Ryan Kwanten. The clip is called “Dual Action.”
Our friends over at Skarsgardfans.com have some more exclusive photos that they shared with us. Lucky ladies!
True Blood production trucks were set up outside a market and a home in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles today. The filming inside the market was earlier in the morning and the crew moved from that location to the home a few blocks away. The filming was for episode 5.03 “Whatever I am, You Made Me”.
According to the production call sheet, the filming at the market had Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) running into Miss Steeler (played by Melissa Page Hamilton). Their meeting led them to go to Miss Steeler’s home to “rekindle” a romance perhaps. The images below are from the filming today 1/24/12. Waiting sucks but the little bits of news help make the wait less painful!
On my walk back to my car I was able to catch a glimpse of Ryan Kwanten (shirtless) leaving the house being used for filming:

A couple of the True Blood stars were in Park City, Utah, yesterday to attend the Sundance Film Festival. The movie Carrie Preston directed, That’s What She Said, was chosen and shown yesterday at the Festival. She also attended day 1 of the T-Mobile Google Music Village at The Lift .
Ryan Kwanten was also in town and took up day 1 of Oakley Learn to Ride Fueled by Muscle Milk and Lounge.

Janina, Ryan, Carrie & Joe
We’ve got even more Golden Globes After Party Red Carpet chat from some True Blood stars. Janina Gavankar posted this video by MTV on her blog that features her, Ryan Kwanten, Carrie Preston and Joe Manganiello. Thanks Janina and MTV!
Unfortunately for all of us “True Blood” fans, we still have quite a wait for the premiere of season five. And while the waiting does indeed suck, MTV News was lucky enough to attend HBO’s fancy Golden Globes party on Sunday where we encountered not one but four excellent cast members—Ryan Kwanten, Janina Gavankar, Carrie Preston and Joe Manganiello—who gave us a little preview of what’s in store for their characters.
“Jason is hanging onto every shred of humanity as it is, and he was lucky to survive last season. He was on the brink of death several times,” Ryan said of Jason Stackhouse’s failed werepanther transformation. “This season he’s finally becoming a man, I think. He’s got responsibility in his life. He’s in a position of authority too because Andy is not doing too well with being a sheriff.”
