No Anna, no Stephen :(  no Award for Evan Rachel, no Globe for Fassbender *sigh*  But not all was lost, as we were able to see a  lot of True Blood guys enjoying the HBO’s Official After Party for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, at The Beverly Hilton hotel, and oh boy, they looked great.

Kristin Bauer van Straten & Michelle Forbes presented an award to “Bino” in the Military Dog category at The American Human Associations’s First Annual Hero Dog Awards.  The event was held on October 1st, but aired tonight on the Hallmark Channel.

Kristin Bauer van Straten and Michelle Forbes were glad to see each other and shared good laughs at The American Humane Association’s First Annual Hero Dog Awards, celebrated at The Beverly Hilton hotel on October 1, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.

The American Humane Association’s Hero Dog Awards was created to shine a spotlight on the thousands of dogs making a difference to people in need every day by providing comfort and support with their unconditional love. The star-studded event celebrated eight extraordinary heroic dogs and recognized their acts of heroism. The Hero Dog Awards will be broadcast nationwide by Hallmark Channel on November 11, 2011.

We didn’t see Anna and Stephen on the Red Carpet, nor we saw Michelle winning the Emmy for her outstanding performance as a grieving mum in The Killer, but we are happy and delighted to see Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Michelle Forbes at the Governor’s Ball after The Emmys, having a good time and looking completely stunning. Later, Anna and Stephen moved onto HBO’s Official Emmy After Party at The Plaza at the Pacific Design Center, where they found Sam Trammell.  Also? what a surprise that Mad Men won the Emmy to the best TV show!! Whoever said The Emmys were predictable, should have watched yesterday.

The True Blood cast is making their way down the Emmy red carpet. We’ll keep updating post as the images come in. So far, Evan Rachel Wood (Queen Sophie-Anne) and Michelle Forbes (Maryann). Both of their characters were killed off of True Blood, but we sure wish them well at the Emmy’s! Evan is nominated for her performance in Mildred Pierce and Michelle is nominated for her performance in The Killing.

The Emmys will be broadcast this Sunday and in preparation, the True Blood cast is out and about doing pre-Emmy parties and gift lounges. I love it when everyone poses with free swag! We’ll load more as they come in. PS, Todd? I hope you took more than one bag of kettle corn, ’cause that stuff is amazing!

Why am I posting it here? Because not only do they talk about True Blood and the Sookie Stackhouse novels, but they actually talk to Kristin Bauer van Straten, Nelsan Ellis, Charlaine Harris and Michelle Forbes.

The show talks about the origins of the vampire story, zombies, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Anne Rice novels, etc.

This video shows just the True Blood parts. It’s almost 7 minutes in length. Please at least watch 5:36 – Nelsan says “Shii-ttt” and it is the cutest thing.
