The Golden Globes Gift lounges started on Friday, and True Blood stars have been enjoying them throughout the weekend. Keep an eye on this post as we’ll be updating the gallery as soon as we find new pics.
Former best friends Jason & Hoyt, before Jason told Hoyt "the news" PC: HBO
In Season 4, we saw best buddies Hoyt Fortenberry and Jason Stackhouse end their friendship over the news that Jason had sex with Hoyt’s ex, Jessica Hamby. True, Hoyt and Jessica were broken up, but we all know that Hoyt wouldn’t be able to let that slide. He & Jason have been friends for so long, he & Jessica had only been dating & living together for a year or two.
So what do you think is up for Hoyt? He’s lost his best friend and his girl this season. Not to mention he left his mama Maxine because she didn’t like him being with a vampire. Will he go back to her? Go back to Summer and her biscuits again? Join the Fellowship of The Sun now that he thinks vampires are “monsters”? Will he realize Jason really did try to stay away from Jessica and forgive him? His story seems pretty up in the air.
Jessica & Jason: Meant to be, or another crazy-ass relationship gone wrong for Jason?
As for Jessica: she seems pretty happy with the way things are going right now. She’s not tied down to one man, can eat who she wants, and have incredible sex with Jason when she wants. Will her sex arrangement with Jason stick, or will she want something more?
It’s hard to not see Jessica with Hoyt (since they were such a great couple in Season 2 & 3) but wants to explore of her vampire side and being tied to one man isn’t going to cut it. She sure has grown up a lot since she was made vampire in Season 1 – glad to see her relationship with Bill has improved and they can respect one another.
And finally: Jason. He has grown up a lot too – being much more responsible, being honest with Hoyt and actually being a good cop. True, he hurt his best friend (but in Ross’s defense on Friends, they were “on a break”). We all know he struggled to fight his desire for Jess, but she was too much for himto resist. He seemed offended when Jessica said, “Since when is Jason Stackhouse concerned with doing the right thing?” And what about all of those women he was forced to have sex with in Hotshot? Did he impregnate any of them? Will Mama Kitty Crystal come back for him? Will Jason become a panther after all? Will we have to see that dreadful place again? (I have to admit, I kind of like Timbo, but that’s it.)
Tell us what YOU think will happen to Hoyt, Jessica and Jason this season. Was it just the blood that Jessica gave him or is there really something deeper going on between those two? Are Hoyt’s words to Jason true? (‘You’ll never have something real with her or anybody because there’s something inside you that’s just missing.’) Who will Hoyt turn to? Will “Ghostdaddy” breed?
Lindsay Pulsipher (Crystal Norris, a.k.a “Big Mama Kitty” on True Blood) will be replacing Hilary Duff in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Pulsipher is currently filming the History Channel miniseries The Hatfields and McCoys opposite Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton. She also played Crystal Norris on HBO’s True Blood, and starred in The Oregonian, which premiered at the Sundance Film Fest in January. Her film, Meth Head, co-starring Lukas Haas, will be released this year.
“We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay Pulsipher as Bonnie Parker in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde. Lindsay will undoubtedly bring many layers to this critical role,” says producer Tonya S. Holly of Cypress Moon Productions in a statement. “This is a gripping story about two of the most legendary fugitives in history.”
Last seen telling Jason Stackhouse that he’ll come back to Hotshot during the full moon, Lindsay Pulsipher has now joined the History Channel’s “Hatfields and McCoys” miniseries.
Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton will portray the famed leaders of the feuding families. The project, which will center on the bloody hostilities between two clans that escalated to the point of near war between two states, will air next year, the 150th anniversary of the country’s most infamous family feud.
Lindsay will play Bill Paxton’s daughter, Roseanna McCoy.
Poor Jason, tied up and hopped up on Mexican Viagra
The new mythology video on were-panthers is a bit spoilery, and can also give some people the heebie-jeebies. If you were wondering why all those women were standing around Jason’s bed when Crystal was on top of him, your questions will be answered.
Alan Ball, Ryan Kwanten (Jason) and Lindsay Pulsipher (Crystal) are on hand to give us the details on those wild creatures from Hotshot.
It’s Friday True Blood fans and HBO has released 3 sneak peek clips of this Sunday’s episode titled, “If You Love Me Why Am I Dyin’?”. You know the drill, if you don’t want to be spoiled for the show, don’t watch, but if you can’t resist…
HBO has a bigger and better version of The Buzz on the Red Carpet of the Hollywood premiere of True Blood On Demand. This one has new scenes of Eric & Sookie (at 1:36), Pam & Tara (at 1:54), and Jason & Crystal (at 2:14).
Here’s something you don’t see very often: a drunk vampire. Don’t watch if you don’t want to know!
