No Anna, no Stephen :( no Award for Evan Rachel, no Globe for Fassbender *sigh* But not all was lost, as we were able to see a lot of True Blood guys enjoying the HBO’s Official After Party for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, at The Beverly Hilton hotel, and oh boy, they looked great.
Since True Blood wasn’t nominated this year, there are not many stars at the 2012 Golden Globes. But the cameras spotted Ryan Kwanten at the event, and of course Evan Rachel Wood who is nominated for her role in Mildred Pierce.

Evan Rachel Wood (True Blood’s Queen Sophie-Anne LeClerq) is showing her stuff in some pictures taken by Ellen Von Unwerth for Flaunt magazine (issue 119).
Excerpt from the interview by Matthew Bedard:
“Body language is something you can read that some people aren’t aware that they’re doing,” Wood says as we watch the WPC girl read the message-less screen on her phone. “It’s like Christopher Walken: ‘You’re telling me nothing, but you’re showing me everything.’ That’s so true. As an actor, I feel like that’s one thing that is a blessing and a curse because I can really read body language, and can totally tell if someone is full of shit, and that can present problems sometimes.”

The Golden Globe Nominations were announced today. To use a phrase from one of my favorite Christmas movies (A Christmas Story), True Blood was “skunked again.”
There were no nominations for True Blood.
But, we are happy to report that True Blood’s Queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq Evan Rachel Wood was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in the HBO mini-series Mildred Pierce. Also nominated for that category: Jessica Lange (Amercian Horror Story), Kelly MacDonald (Boardwalk Empire), Maggie Smith (Downtown Abbey Masterpiece) and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family).
