Cam Gigandet and Drea de Matteo will also join Anna in the independent film which is being shot in Sarasota, Florida.

The movie takes place in late 1970′s Florida. After fleeing an abusive relationship, mom turns to the marijuana trade to support her daughters, ages 15 and 7. It’s based on the real-life story of writer/director Shana Sosin, the youngest of the siblings. Paquin plays Sosin’s mother, Christina.

Looks like turning 24 years old was pretty sweet for Brit Morgan, who celebrated a belated birthday (Sept. 24) at Las Vegas’ Chateau Nightclub & Gardens on Oct 1. While there she also dined on some sweet treats at the Sugar Factory at Paris Las Vegas with some friends, Guillermo Diaz from Weeds among them. Happy belated birthday to Brit!

As you may have seen, the fourth episode of True Blood was dedicated to Jesse James Cartwright. Jesse was part of the True Blood transportation crew and lost his life earlier this year, leaving behind his wife and three children. True Blood Staff, Cast and Fans are uniting to raise funds for Jesse’s family.

Can a romance work between Alcide & Debbie?

As we all know, Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) will return to True Blood in tonight’s episode. We keep hearing that he will not be alone, and we’re thinking that he will be with his former fiancé, Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan). You have to wonder why he could go back to such a (for the lack of a better word) bitch, but he has described her as the “love of his life.”

Alcide was by no means satisfied of killing his rival, the vicious and also V addicted King Russell’s servant, Cooter.

“Do you think it feels good to kill a wolf my ex-girlfriend loves? Well it don’t. Don’t matter if he was bangin’ her while we was still together or he’s a drug addict or a criminal…It still tears my guts out to see Debbie in so much pain. Not to mention killin’ one of my own kind. But that bastard was coming for me. He would have torn out my throat. God only knows what he would have done with Sookie and Tara. He had to go.”

We knew that Debbie would come back for Alcide, as she warned him once he killed Cooter, “so what’s it gonna be, sweetheart? Are you going to kill me too?  You f’ing better. Because if you don’t, I will sniff you out. I will. I will come after you. And-I-will-hunt-you-down.”

And Alcide knows how easy is for Debbie to track him down: “Wolves can track scent almost better than any other were or shifter out there. Better than a vamp even. I don’t doubt Debbie will find me. And I’ll be ready for her when she does. I just hope she doesn’t come after Sookie or my family. Because if she does, I’ll show no mercy.”

But despise his menace, Alcide always has loved Debbie. Like many drug addicts, Debbie never had a problem with violence before she began using V. She got into a fist fight once in elementary school, but cried uncle when Suzy Palmer bit her arm. According to Alcide, “the V made Debbie a new Debbie. It ain’t pretty. And it sure as hell ain’t predictable.”

“I lost the love of my life to their (vampires) blood.”

So maybe now that Russell is gone (for awhile, anyway) and Debbie hasn’t been getting regular supply of V, she will turn back into the nicer Debbie that Alcide knew that helped his mother plant tomatoes. What say you about this possible reunited love affair? Haven’t we all been there struggling with our love for someone that we may be better off without?

Anyway, maybe the V addiction wasn’t the only problem between them. Alcide never wanted to have children while it seems this reason was one of the main regrets to him and the cause of Debbie’s walk on the wild side.

On extending progeny, Alcide says, “I’m proud of what I am. I care about my kind. The thought of us going extinct makes me sick to my stomach. The direction the world’s movin’, the vamps comin’ out, good Weres jumpin’ into bad packs…Can’t in good conscious bring a life into the world. I don’t want my son or daughter to be held back on the count of bein’ an outsider – always having to keep a secret, and one that is becoming more and more dirty. Debbie and I just couldn’t see eye to eye on that.”

But it seems that Alcide may have been alone in this one. As Debbie cried to Alcide while on King Russell’s quarters, ”I’d have giving up everything for you. But you wouldn’t even give me a baby”. So there you go, Alcide. A baby.

Alcide replied to her, “it’s never too late” after she said it was too late for him to be sorry, but perhaps it was too late that they could have a baby together?

You may have read already that Alcide Herveaux will make his first appearance on episode 3 (July 10th). What you possibly didn’t suspect, is that he won’t be returning to Bon Temps alone.

According to TVAddict, “Alcide fans will be thrilled to learn that Joe Manganiello will — at the behest of Sookie — return in a big way in TRUE BLOOD’s third episode of the season. Alcide fans will be somewhat less than thrilled to learn that when Alcide returns to Bon Temps, he will not be doing so alone.”

Could this be the one and only Debbie Pelt? We think so!

According to Yahoo, Alcide’s psychopathic, V-addicted ex-girlfriend, Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan), will return this season with a new prerogative. “You’re going to get to see a different side of Debbie,” Morgan says, adding that Debbie will attempt to make amends with Sookie and find some normalcy. But the werewolf in her isn’t gone. “You’re going to get to see cool things with some of the wolves that you didn’t get to see last season,” she says.
