Nelsan Ellis is interviewed in the July issue of Ebony Magazine, the mag’s annual sexy issue, where he discusses his character’s transition into a supernatural, the international appeal of the show, and and creating a balance between his beliefs and playing Lafayette.
He tells the mag: “It’s sort of the season of Lafayette’s mourning. He had some losses…The other part of this season, [Lafayette is] planning to use his gifts. He doesn’t become a full-on warlock, although he’s acquired some things from [ a friend] and from his bloodline that he’ll start to learn how to operate.” Sounds like we’ve only seen the beginning of Lafayette’s newfound powers!
