HBO released another sneak peek clip of True Blood episode 510, ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’. The clip is called “We Meet Again” and features Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Hoyt (Jim Parrack).
Rutina Wesley wasn’t the only one interviewed by Rolling Stone lately – they also have a great interview with Deborah Ann Woll. She talks about True Blood and also her new film Ruby Sparks.
You caused a quite a stir a couple of Sundays ago when you tweeted that someone might die in that night’s episode [Christopher Meloni's character, the vampire Guardian Roman Zimojic, wound up being killed. The tweet has since been deleted]. Oh, gosh, I felt so bad about it afterwards because I had completely forgotten Roman was going to die that night [laughs]! Because I had that big immortality speech [in Episode Five], I had been getting a lot of tweets from people afraid that Jessica was going to die. So I was like, “Well, why don’t we just stir them up a little bit? And hint at someone just as, like, a lie. And then when I watched the episode that night and Roman died, I was like, “Hah! That’s funny! Someone did die!” And then I got a call from HBO, and they were like, “You blew it!” And I was like, “Oh, my God, I’m so sorry!”
Jessica’s evolution has been so much fun to watch, especially this season. As she said on her blog, Babyvamp Jessica, she doesn’t feel like a baby vamp anymore, but a teenager. Is that how you see her now? Or do you think she’s matured even farther along than a teenager? I think teenager is a pretty good representation. As a baby, I think part of it was there was no impulse control – she was still learning things and figuring out how to deal with her vampire side. But by the time you get to be a teenager, you’re developed. The question is how are you going to use that? And, to me, it’s more like, she’s still gonna make a lot of mistakes, she’s still very innocent in many ways. But, she’s also very wise about other things.
Stephen Moyer went behind the camera for this Sunday’s episode. How did your “maker” do as a director? He did such a great job. I’m so happy for him. He was born to be a director. From the very first day I worked with him he was talking about camera angles and how to stage it so it told a better story. He has that innate sense about him – and I think we just all were looking forward to it. It is a bitch to have to shoot and do pre-production and be in your own production, and then post-production. I almost can’t believe he did it because it’s just so hard.
True Blood‘s Deborah Ann Woll is featured in an 8-page photo shoot (“Indian Summer”) for the August 2012 issue of Self magazine. As always, Deborah Ann looks lovely as she models several southwestern denim looks.

Deborah Ann Woll dishes with TV Guide about how Roman’s death and Lilith’s arrival affects the rest of the season. She also talks about her Jessica’s relationships with the men in her life: Bill, Jason and Hoyt. Here’s an excerpt from her question-and-answer:
Do you think the arrival of Lilith might affect Bill?
Woll: I think the arrival of Lilith is going to change everything. It’s going to change everyone, and that certainly includes Bill, it includes Jessica, it includes Russell, it includes Jason. Yes, I think everybody’s going to change with the arrival of such a strong, powerful icon. It’ll be like the second coming of Christ, in a way. This powerful force is actually going to impact her life in a very real way.
How will Jason feel towards Jessica now that he knows vampires killed his parents?
Woll: It’s definitely confusing for him, because he also has strong feelings for Jess and there’s an attraction there, but he’s also discovering that the sexual side of his personality is something that has gotten him into a lot of trouble. Now he’s finding out that his parents had to deal with a vampire, and now here’s this vampire girl he’s attracted to. It’s all wrapped up in one as part of these negative parts of his life. It’ll be hard for him to come to terms with.
Hoyt (Jim Parrack) was kidnapped in last Sunday’s episode. Will she try to find him?
Woll: Yes, I think that even though Jessica doesn’t really love Hoyt anymore, she certainly cares for him, she wants him to be happy in his life, and she certainly still feels protective of him. She doesn’t want Tara (Rutina Wesley) to hurt him. It depends if Hoyt calls her, too. She can’t find him if he doesn’t let her know.
