Off we go for week 3 of politics, baby vamps, sex with teachers and much much more!
BYO Gimp mask, ladies and gents.
Even though Sookie decked out her house with silver air freshener and probably various other booby traps that would made it look like a set from Home Alone 5: The Vampire Invasion, Tara has given them the slip again. She’s in the woods, experiencing either an acid trip or the new benefits of vamp senses when she stumbles on a young girl who’s struggling to change a tyre. She thinks ‘Help is here, goody!’ Tara thinks ‘DINNER! Om nom nom’ and the girl is pounced on before you can say roadside assist. But once again, Tara’s restraint is surprisingly strong, and she apologises to the would-be victim and speeds off to find a late night snack that brings less guilt. Like going for the ‘healthy’ kebab at 2 am instead of the Big Mac meal. It doesn’t work like that T, take what you can get and face the consequences later!
Feeed meeee.
But, as it turns out, the vampire community of backwoods Louisiana does have the perfect establishment for ethical after-hours snacking – Merlotte’s and it’s ample supply of bottled beverages! And as a fist-pump worthy bonus, you get personal service from Mr Merlotte himself. Drunk bastards the world over never had it so good. Tara guzzles down Tru Blood by the 6-pack and pleads with Sam to not give up her whereabouts to pesky Sook and Lala. Good ‘ol dependable Sam stashes Tara in the nippy but light-tight walk in fridge, and Sook drops in to Fangtasia to once again seek assistance from that shining beacon of parental responsibility Pam. She’s too busy rocking the shit out of another amazing leather bodysuit, speed texting, and worrying about Eric’s whereabouts to have time for Tinkerbell or her AWOL new baby. So she gets handsy when Sook doesn’t get the picture and leave, and is then fairy zapped for her troubles and knocked on her ass for all the Fangtasia patrons to see, while Sook leaves looking smug, probably pleased that her Iron Man hands trick can now seemingly be used at will and thinking she’ll now be recruited to the Avengers. Crossover ftw! Read More »
HBO released two new clips for episode 51, titled “Whatever I Am, You Made Me.” The first clip finds Sam out back in Merlotte’s, where nothing good ever seems to happen, sniffing out a freshly-silvered and emotional vampire – who just happens to be Tara. In the other clip, the newly-introduced Authority debate Bill and Eric’s fate after propositioning to bring in vampire enemy No. 1, Russell Edgington.
Our friends over at Skarsgardfans.com have some more exclusive photos that they shared with us. Lucky ladies!
True Blood production trucks were set up outside a market and a home in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles today. The filming inside the market was earlier in the morning and the crew moved from that location to the home a few blocks away. The filming was for episode 5.03 “Whatever I am, You Made Me”.
According to the production call sheet, the filming at the market had Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) running into Miss Steeler (played by Melissa Page Hamilton). Their meeting led them to go to Miss Steeler’s home to “rekindle” a romance perhaps. The images below are from the filming today 1/24/12. Waiting sucks but the little bits of news help make the wait less painful!
On my walk back to my car I was able to catch a glimpse of Ryan Kwanten (shirtless) leaving the house being used for filming:

They have more filming shots at their site. Check it out!
