True Blood News at The Nest

Stephen and Anna will voice “Mr. and Mrs. Big One” for the holiday production of “The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner” at the Brentwood Theatre this December. The production is part of Moyer’s Children’s Theatre Fund and if you’d like to donate to help some kids see the play, then visit the theater’s Web site and use the Paypal link. Anna Paquin and her fiancee, Stephen Moyer, hosted a True Blood premiere party at their home on Sunday. They shopped for the party earlier in the day at Whole Foods, then later handed out the leftover treats to homeless people in Venice Beach. Anna was accompanied by Jim Parrack (Hoyt Fortenberry) and his wife, Ciera, and another friend.

Rutina Wesley answered a few questions for Parade recently and I don’t know whether to say poor, poor Tara or bring it on – Rutina’s gonna own that screen. Her character should be fun to watch this year as she hooks up with the psychotic Franklin Mott while recovering from the loss of Eggs.

“She does have this vampire love interest. I don’t know that I can say ‘love interest,’ maybe it’s more of a ‘dark interest.’ He’s very psychotic.”

Season 3 won’t be a cakewalk for Tara.
“Tara is a survivor. You’re going to see her struggle with trying to survive in this world, with all of the things that are going to happen to her. She has an incredible journey this season – incredible. I really, really enjoyed playing it. It has been as emotionally challenging if not more so than Season 2 or Season 1.

“They’re very private, and I respect that. And they’re very professional. They don’t come to set making out, they come to set to work. People picked up on the chemistry, but no one thought anything was going to come of it. I think it’s beautiful to see two actors like that who can work together and have a relationship outside of it that’s just as healthy. They really do adore each other. They really love each other. I’ve just enjoyed watching their relationship grow, and watching them work together is amazing. Their chemistry is unbelievable.”

True Blood’s Anna Paquin and fiance Stephen Moyer walk hand in hand to a restaurant in Santa Monica. Why post this? It’s really not news, after all – it’s two people, walking to get some food. But we love them, and we think it’s sweet that they’re obviously so in love, and because we haven’t seen them together in 11 days, and Stephen looks really good in jeans, and Anna’s shades are wicked cool (and sometimes that’s enough reasons). If they were any more adorable, they’d sparkle. (Oh wait! That’s a different show…)

The official trailer for Andrew Paquin’s “Open House” has been released and we get glimpses of both Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. I was expecting a release date for the theatres and instead it’s going straight to DVD. I guess we’ll all save money on popcorn.
