The True Blood cast should get ready to have their scenes stolen, because it looks like Carolyn Hennesy is joining their ranks in season 5!
The redhead actress — who is best known as brassy lawyer Diane Miller on General Hospital and provocative Barb on Cougar Town — tweeted a clue that she’ll be appearing on the HBO show this season: “Guess who’s gonna be a fab new vampire with a Texas twang on True Blood? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?”
Hennesy brings sass and spark to every role she plays, even when she’s nearly unrecognizable, like on Once Upon a Time recently as Jiminy Cricket’s evil mother Myrna.
We can’t wait to see this new vamp she plays. Could Hennesy be playing Rosalyn Harris, a “40 to 60-year-old member of the Authority from Texas with “hair high enough to interfere with air traffic,” in episode 2? The timing makes sense, since we know True Blood started filming recently and had their first table read.
Whatever the role is, we know that True Blood + one of our favorite characters actresses = must-see TV!
