True Blood News at The Nest

Bad news for all you True Blood fans that had plans to go to TwiCon in Vegas or Ottawa this summer. The convention has been cancelled in both cities.

After much thought, deliberation and best intentions to survive, TwiCon Partners LLC has made the difficult decision to cease operations. Competitive pressures, coupled with the persistent nature of the economic downturn, have necessitated this action. Both of the scheduled 2010 TwiCon events have been cancelled as a result of today’s decision.

Day passes are now on sale here: Passes. The Vegas event will be July 29th – August 1st. True Blood will be on Friday, July 30th. Sam Trammell and Joe Manganiello have been confirmed for the Vegas event.

Ottawa dates are June 25th – June 27th. True Blood will be on Friday, June 25th. Sam Trammell and Joe Manganiello have been confirmed for the Ottawa event.

For those of you who were planning on traveling to Toronto in June to see Sam Trammell & Joe Manganiello at the TwiCon event, y’all need to change your reservations to Ottawa.

A world financial conference which will virtually shut down the city of Toronto this June has forced the relocation of the Canadian TwiCon event to Ottawa. The event still will be held June 25-27, 2010.
