Attention Texas True Blood fans! Sam Trammell is headed to Texas in early May for Texas Frightmare Weekend! The actor, who portrays our favorite shape-shiffting bar owner Sam Merlotte, will be at the Dallas based horror convention to meet fans May 4-6th!
The convention will take place at the Hyatt Regency Dallas-Fort Worth Hotel. So far Sam is not listed to be on any panels but that could change as the event gets closer. But currently he will be there for all three days.
Tickets can be purchased here. They range from $65 for an all weekend pass to $25 per day. The rates will go up if not pre-ordered.
The lovely Jenna at AlexSkarsgard.net has received confirmation from Skarsgård Headquarters that the LA premiere of Battleship will be held on Thursday, May 10th at LA Live. Expect a tall, handsome Swede (Alexander Skarsgård) in a suit working the red carpet.

The super-cool Janina Gavankar is actually in Texas promoting her new film, “Satellite of Love” which does its World Premiere at the Dallas International Film Festival. The film also stars Shannon Lucio (Caroline Compton in True Blood).
Satellite of Love is an independent feature film written by Jonathan Case and Will Moore and focuses on the lives of two best friends and the woman between them.
In a recent interview that Janina has given to Interview Magazine, she speaks on her new film: “I’ve done a million indies, but I’ve never done anything that was in this genre, which is more “mumblecore.” The sort of “Let’s all pontificate and talk about relationships and life.” But it’s a beautiful film and it’s doing the Dallas Film Festival”.

Last night (April 11, 2012), Alexander Skarsgård attended the premiere of The Avengers along with his father, Stellan Skarsgård, who is one of the stars in the movie. The premiere of Marvel Studios’ ‘The Avengers’ was held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.

For the second year in a row, True Blood’s married superstar couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer will be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 28.
Anna and Stephen made an appearance at last year’s dinner along with Ryan Kwanten.
This year, they’ll join celebrities including George Clooney and girlfriend Stacy Keibler; Reese Witherspoon; The Help star Viola Davis, Dancing with the Stars winner J.R. Martinez, Glee star, Darren Criss of Glee, and more. Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will headline the dinner.
